Stars in Tinseltown are always hooking up, breaking up, and getting back together it seems. It’s hard to know what’s rumour and what’s fact but there are some stories that just can’t be denied. Here are this week’s stories of stars that are making a love reconnection, as well as the ones that will never again make any kind of connection.

One couple that we will never again see gazing into each other’s eyes are Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston. Brown has just come out with a book revealing everything, and I mean everything about his marriage to Whitney. The book includes stories about his drug use and how he cheated on her. If you catch these two staring at each other, you can bet they’re giving each other the stare of death.

But are they or aren’t they? It’s reported that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline may be reuniting after they spent a weekend away together and Jamie Spears has also been rumoured to have been trying to convince K-Fed to go back to Britney. Now that’s embarrasing.

And there’s no talk yet of Jessica Simpson getting back together with her ex John Mayer but there’s a lot of talk about how much she wants to. Is she that stupid that she’s forgotten about her relationship with Tony Romo?

And perhaps the most embarrasing reunion of all is that of the New Kids on the Block. Let’s all give one big , “HA!” They must have run out of money because what else could have possibly possessed this group to think it was a good idea to reunite? If you take away “New” (because they’re not), and you also take away “Kids” (because they’re not), you have “on the Block.” And everyone knows that when you’re “on the Block,” it’s only a matter of time.

Bobby Brown is so stupid. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love My Prerogative, and rock on, you know party living and all; good stuff. But here is Bobby Brown, trying to make himself look diplomatic, saying all this BS about how he has nothing bad to say about Whitney Houston. Well DUH! That’s because he was smoking crack right along with her! And now he’s coming out, trying to look all angelic? Oh, he-ell no. From In Touch:

In his controversial upcoming autobiography, “Being Bobby Brown: The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But…” the troubled pop star admits to everything from getting together with Janet Jackson to nearly dying from a drug overdose. But the one thing Bobby, 39, won’t ’fess up to is insulting his ex-wife, famed singer Whitney Houston, 44. “I don’t have anything bad to say about her,” says Bobby. “She should have no worries. There’s no mess in this book.”

Exactly how dirty the former couple’s laundry is, seems relative. “The book is really good. I’m not a complex person,” he says. “I’m just trying to maintain a certain amount of integrity — and a certain amount of bad boy-ness.” Bobby’s tell-all addresses issues such as Whitney’s alleged drug use, rumors about her sexuality and their much-publicized divorce. The R&B crooner is candid about his motives. “I think the story needs to be told from my point of view,” he says. “I still have kids that are in school right now so I have to do what I have to do. Daddy doesn’t stop working.” Bobby’s new book is scheduled to hit stores on May 13. He’s also working on a new album.

“I’m in a perfect place right now,” he says. “I’m really happy — that’s why I’m having a beer.””

Great, Bobby, stick with beer, one a day, tops. I think his entirely proposal is a little arrogant, not to mention, at his age, it’s kind of hard to pull off “bad-boy”, and maybe he should go for “senile retiree” instead. Hopefully, Bobby is keeping it together for his kids’ sakes, at least. Check out Bobby Brown’s horn-rims. Wow, classy.

Whitney Houston has split from her husband, Bobby Brown, Houston’s rep, Nancy Seltzer, has confirmed to PEOPLE. “She has filed for divorce from Bobby Brown,” says Seltzer. Houston filed the paperwork Friday, Sept. 8 in Orange County, Calif. The filing is technically a legal separation, Seltzer clarified, adding: “We’re saying she filed for divorce because that is (Whitney’s) intent.” Divorce proceeding are expected to begin next month. “(Whitney) was in L.A. last night with Clive Davis at the Ella awards,” Seltzer said Wednesday. “I have nothing further to add.” In the filing, Houston asked for custody of the couple’s 13-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and asked that Brown be allowed visitation rights, the Associated Press reports. She also requested that property rights be determined later. A Houston friend tells PEOPLE of the singer, “She is doing fabulously well.” Houston, 43, and Brown, 39, wed on July 18, 1992. But doubts about the couple began even before their wedding day. She was the velvet-voiced sweetheart raised on Baptist gospel music in a middle-class home. He was a bad boy from the Roxbury section of Boston who had fathered three kids out of wedlock. Still, Houston walked down the aisle in a $40,000 Marc Bouwer wedding gown and, before a star-studded crowd of 800 guests, exchanged vows with Brown on the grounds of her five-acre, $11 million New Jersey mansion. But through it all, Houston and Brown always seemed to stick together. In January, a report surfaced that Brown planned to divorce Houston and had been partying with several women at a casino. Telling PEOPLE the rumors were untrue, Brown said of his wife, “She’s my friend. She’s the better half of me. They say opposites attract, but we’re not opposites. We’re one person. We’re loving life, and we’re just trying to be as good to each other as possible.” And in May, when a tabloid reported that Houston was abusing drugs and that the union was in trouble, Brown told PEOPLE, “We are happily married. … We are going to stand for each other for as long we live. I adore that woman. She helps me see God. I look in her eyes and I see God.”

Bobby Brown�s representative is denying rumours that Bobby�s marriage to Whitney Houston is in trouble.

Several sources told the New York Daily News that, after a concert with En Vogue and Bel Biv Devoe at the weekend, Bobby was telling people backstage that he had split from Whitney and was �looking for a new tenderoni� then checking if �anybody wants to come home with me tonight?�.

The newspaper also reported that Bobby has left the family home and been sleeping at different hotels in the Los Angeles area.

However, his publicist denied that there are not any problems between the two of them and that they enjoyed a quiet dinner together on Tuesday to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary.

Whitney�s spokesperson Nancy Seltzer said she had �no comment on the state of their union�.
