R Kelly’s child pornography trial has still yet to surface. This time, it is because the lead prosecutor had to go give birth. True, that is an understandable reason. But still. Don’t people usually know when they’re going to have a baby? I was under the assumption most people got nine month’s notice. Maybe the lead prosecutor needs to be investigated for being some kind of alien, if it only takes a few weeks for her to come to full term. What the hell?! Why do the powers that be keep letting this guy off the hook?! Quite honestly, I’m not a big fan, or a big hater of R Kelly, really. My beef is more with our legal system. Whomever keeps taking the bribes to keep R Kelly out of jail, needs to be fired. From MertroMix:

Kelly’s trial was postponed yet again on Tuesday, with no trial date in sight more than five years after child pornography charges were filed against the R&B singer. The lead prosecutor in the case, Assistant State’s Atty. Shauna Boliker, gave birth last week, prompting the judge presiding over the case to indefinitely postpone the trial less than two weeks before its scheduled start on Sept. 17.”
R Kelly was charged with child pornography after he videotaped himself having sex with a thirteen year old. And… how is it that’s he’s not in jail yet? Someone seriously needs to sue the legal system.
