You often hear about fairytale romances and pregnancies in Hollywood and wonder how the stars do it. It seems their pregnant one day and having the baby the next with really no muss or fuss in between. But there are many stars walking around Tinseltown that are finding that pregnancy is not as glamorous as it sounds. Here are the stars that are having the most trouble with their pregnancies.

Gwyneth Paltrow has come out and said that she had post-partum depression. I don’t know, is she trying to make headlines with this one? Does she know what post-partum is? She says she didn’t know she had it until it was over but because the depression is an actual chemical imbalance, it can’t be over without getting proper treatment for it. So either a doctor told her that she had it and she still didn’t realize it or she had a case of the baby blues and is mistaking it for post-partum.

Nicole Kidman really is having trouble with her first pregnancy with her husband Keith Urban. Although her health and the baby’s health seem to be okay, Kidman is having a lot of trouble with morning sickness. Hopefully it will abate as she enters her second trimester but for right now, if you see her running, you best get out of the way!

Heidi Klum isn’t pregnant and therefore, not having any problems in that regard but her son Johan was looking quite sick as Heidi brought him in to the Beverly Hills Medical Center yesterday. Hopefully it’s just a cold bug and Heidi will be busy chasing him around the house in no time.

And Jamie Lynn Spears really is pregnant but apparently seems to be loving pregnancy! No problems here. Oh right, there is the fact that she’s 17.

George Clooney has been busy dashing the hopes of fans everywhere in their search for more gossip. First he told Ryan Seacrest on the Red Carpet for the Oscars that he did not buy a house in Malibu for his girlfriend, Sarah Larson. But now the speculation has come up that he has been asked to be the godfather of his friend, Nicole Kidman’s baby that she is having with country singer star, Keith Urban. Contact Music reports,

“GEORGE CLOONEY’s representative has dismissed rumours the star has been asked to act as godfather for NICOLE KIDMAN’s as-yet-unborn baby with country star KEITH URBAN. The 46-year-old was reportedly asked by the Australian actress to be her first biological child’s godfather, allegedly stating her The Peacemaker co-star would “be ideal” in the role. But Clooney’s long-standing representative Stan Rosenfield has laughed off the claims, stating Kidman has definitely not asked the actor to be the child’s religious guide. He says, “They are friends,but George was not asked to be the godfather.”

Clooney has also denied rumours that he would be returning to the show ER. Now, wouldn’t that be something? All they would need then is Noah Wyle back on set and I might start watching that show again.

It’s great that Nicole Kidman is finally having a kid and all. But what the hell is wrong with her? What moronic spiritual quack Hollywood doctor advised her that drinking was okay during pregnancy? If she’s so happy to be having a kid, why is she drinking? I mean, no one’s perfect, but it’s something you just don’t do. From The New York Post:

“OSCARS. Boozing backstage during the Oscarcast is a no-no. But if you’re pregnant Nicole Kidman it’s a yes- yes. She wanted white wine. She got it. . . .”

Lovely. Very nice. A woman who’s supposed to be seen as a role model, has had complicated pregnancies and miscarriages in the past, is boozing it up on Oscar night. Celebrities are so thoughtful.

While watching the Australian Open, I saw Nicole Kidman and her husband, Keith Urban, cuddling quite a bit in the stands. They were whispering to each other, giggling, and affectionately kissing. No, not the kind of kissing where their tongues were all over and in each other. They were sweet looking and very much in love.

TV coverage showed shots of Nicole wearing a trenchcoat and walking up the stands. Since her back was to the camera, I couldn’t see a plump belly. What was plump, however, were her lips. It’s sad when you see someone beautiful have one of those lip injection thingies. Ick! It’s amazing how the plump lips can make a once beautiful woman look ugly. Now she looks like Joan Rivers, Cher, Faye Dunaway, and Melanie Griffith.

According to all the tabloids, it’s baby season in Hollywood. And it’s not even spring yet!

Everyone knows about Joel Madden and Nicole Richie’s new baby girl, Harlow Winter Kate Madden, apparently named for the season in which she’s graced us.

Nicole Kidman is also, finally pregnant, at which we’re all sure she’s overjoyed, despite already having two adopted children with the once dreamy, now skeezy, Tom Cruise.

Courtney Thorne-Smith, from According To Jim, has had a baby boy, with her husband Roger Fishman. Jacob Emerson Fishman was born on Friday.

Well-known comedian, David Alan Grier has also welcomed a new baby this winter, with his wife, Christine Y. Kim. Luisa Danbi Grier-Kim, translated to “sweet rain”, was born on Thursday.

And, good news! Rick Salomon and Pamela Anderson are not procreating! Pam has assured the worried public that she will not be spreading the evil seed of Rick Salomon, the co-star with Paris Hilton in ‘One night In Paris.’ Thank God for small favors, hm?

Jessica Alba showed up at the premier of “Awake” in a dress that showed off a bit of belly. Is she pregnant? Does she have crappy taste in clothes? Or is Jessica Alba getting fat because she realises that people aren’t falling for her cutesy B.S. anymore? From Cele|bitchy:

“26 year-old Jessica Alba looks pregnant to me. I know I’m always calling celebrities pregnant, but in the last two cases, Nicole Richie and Cate Blanchett, I was right and well ahead of the tabloids. (Although I did call Nicole Kidman pregnant enough times for her to have had Irish twins by now.) At first I wrote this whole post making fun of Alba’s recent lack of style, but when I looked at the pictures closely I was struck by how much her lower stomach looks like it’s sticking out in this dress. It could just be the style of the dress, but I suspect she’s knocked up. Alba is currently reunited with her longterm boyfriend, Cash Warren, who was also at the premiere of Awake in NY last night.

Is Alba pregnant or did she fire her stylist? She was on TRL on Tuesday wearing a loose t-shirt and skirt outfit that Agent Bedhead said made her look “like the ditzy secretary who takes the ‘business-casual; notion way too literally.” Then last night she showed up at the premiere of her new film, Awake, wearing a black dress with scalloped lace detail and puffy cap sleeves. Her look is just perfect for that mid 80s prom she would have been crowned queen of if she was born 15 years earlier.”

I wonder who the father is, if she is pregnant? Jessica Alba has had some very awkward ups and downs in the relationship department over the past year, and pregnancy is possible, but paternal tracking? Who knows.

Nicole Kidman has asked her husband Keith Urban to wear an ankle monitor, in an attempt to keep him away from booze.

According to News.com.au, the Oscar winning actor is so concerned that the “country boy might backslide back into the booze; she has decided to lock a remote-controlled alcohol monitor around his ankle.”

And Urban reportedly has no problems abiding by his wife’s demands - because he is determined to stay away from alcohol after his successful rehab program and has consented to wear the monitor, knowing full well that any hint of alcohol in his sweat will be detected by Nicole.

The Australian news agency has also stated: “It is believed the gadget is a Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor (also known as the SCRAM). The SCRAM is worn as an ankle bracelet to check for alcohol vapours that come out of the skin.”

Nicole will be busy shooting for the movie ‘Australia’ with Hugh Jackman, while Keith will be on the road with his SCRAM device.

Nicole Kidman visited her husband, Keith Urban at the Betty Ford Clinic on Sunday. Urban entered the clinic on October 19th and is expected to be there for 30- 45 days.

Not surprisingly, Nicole Kidman recently revealed that she feels unhappy. With her new husband in rehab and her ex-husband not yet in the looney bin, it’s easy to see why the actress is having a hard time.

Kidman told Britain’s OK! Magazine: “Am I happy? I’m not quite sure how happy I am. How do I feel? It changes minute by minute. I’m terribly fickle!”
Perhaps in an effort to cheer up his ex-wife from afar, Keith Urban sent out a heartfelt message to Nicole during the Country Music Awards last night. He was presented with Top Male Vocalist. Ronnie Dunn, of Brooks & Dunn, read his message aloud: “”To my wife, Nicole, I love you. I’m looking forward to coming home and seeing you all soon.”

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has reportedly backed out from her role in Hong Kong director Wong Kar-Wai’s project “Lady from Shanghai” so she could accompany her singer husband Keith Urban in rehabilitation.

The Oscar-winning actress and star of “The Others,” told reporters at the Rome Film Festival that she will accompany her husband who has entered a rehabilitation treatment center on Thursday for alcohol abuse.

Grammy-award winner Urban has publicly acknowledged that he was a former cocaine addict.

But despite pulling out from the Kar-Wai project, Kidman will also have a busy schedule next year as she is expected to star in the remake of “Gone with the Wind” and the $150 million project “The Golden Compass,” which will also star Daniel Craig.
