Stephanie Pratt came out to Us Magazine about how she feels about Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s imminent, yet off and on, wedding plans. I realize that it’s really none of anyone’s business anyway you look at it, but isn’t publicly speculating about your brother’s relationship with someone kind of rude? If my brother started telling the newspaper that me and so and so weren’t ready for marriage, or that maybe we should re-think things, I’d probably pour sugar in his gas tank. Then again… I’m from the South. Either way, isn’t there some sort of Hollywood Etiquette to apply to this? From Us Magazine:
“Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have a lot of work to do before they walk down the aisle.
So says Pratt’s younger sister, Stephanie.
“I love them both so much, but I don’t think they’re ready to get married,” she said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show Monday.
“They’re perfect for each other,” she added. “Spencer loves her — I’ve never seen him love someone so much.”
But when Seacrest asked if the notoriously on-and-off duo would be together forever, Stephanie replied, “Stay together? I don’t know.”
She said the couple’s biggest problem is that they get “jealous … One’s a little nicer.”
When Seacrest asked who is nicer, she replied, “Spencer is the sweeter person.”
Would Montag ever cheat? Stephanie wouldn’t say, but if she did, watch out. “I’d kill her!” Stephanie vowed.
Stephanie also opened up about reconciling with Lauren Conrad. (Stephanie once confronted her at a club for feuding with Heidi and Spencer.)
Stephanie said she felt compelled to apologize to Conrad on last week’s Hills episode because the two were in the same computer class.
“I was like, ‘I’m scared to death of this girl!’” Pratt said. “I knew I had to apologize — the class is 9 weeks! If I hadn’t, it would’ve been the worst 9 weeks of my life!”
She said Spencer was “genuinely mad” when he found out the two were pals and that she went to Lauren’s 22nd birthday party.
On tonight’s episode, he “makes me cry hysterically,” Stephanie said.
Still, she insisted, “I don’t think I was at fault… I did become friends with Lauren and went to her birthday party. If became friends with Audrina, I’d go to her birthday party, too!”
She also said she wants to bring Lauren and Heidi together.
In a future episode, she said she gets them to appear in the same room together.
Though “there was no speaking,” she said she is hopeful she can help them reconcile.
“My best friend since the seventh grade and I had the biggest falling out, and we just became friends again, so I am optimistic,” Stephanie said.
As for Stephanie and Conrad, she said “[we're] good friends. We’re gonna be taking another class together.”"
This relationship is fake, on the other hand. “Reality Show” romance? Puh-lease. So many people have admitted they were acting after the fact. “The Producers” sit each of these “reality show ‘guests’” down, and are like, “So today, you call her a bitch, and then… pull her hair!” The only reality show I ever saw that I might have even considered to be real, was I Love New York 2, because Pretty called New York out on having a bad weave. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag? They get my Official Stamp of Synthetic, –kind of like Pam’s boobs.
By the way, for those of you who don’t know who Stephanie Pratt is yet, you can get a really great description from The Evil Beet.
If only life were like Hollywood; full of glamour, plastic surgery, and drama. Well, I guess some lives are like that. One celebrity life I particularly wouldn’t want is that of DeAnna Pappas. At least a little while ago. She was subject to a massive burn, when she was rejected on the show ‘The Bachelor.’ Now the officials at ABC in their infinite wisdom have selected her to be the star in a new season of ‘The Bachelorette.’ From Us Magazine:
“After getting dissed on the last season of The Bachelor, DeAnna Pappas will get another shot at finding love on TV.
Pappas, 26, a real estate agent from Newnan, Georgia, will headline the next season of ABC’s The Bachelorette, airing this summer.
Pappas endured a painful, last-minute rejection by Brad Womack on the Bachelor finale last November.
Even though he had even flown her father in and implied he was going to pick her, he rejected Pappas, as well as the show’s other finalist, Jenni Croft.
“DeAnna and I had something that’s pretty special. But I did not see this crazy love that would turn into a lifetime,” Womack explained to Us.
Tell Us: Do you think DeAnna will find love this time around?”
Well, isn’t that the entire point of the show? DeAnna will get to choose amongst the several males available to her on the show. Although, with any luck, there won’t be a midget on the show amongst the choices. With all due respect to small people around the world, of course. I thought the addition of a midget on I Love New York 2 was idiotic, and insulting; someone as shallow and trashy as a celebrity is rarely capable of seeing past her own fat head, and cheap weave.
I’m not sure how many of you guys out there followed the ‘I Love New York‘ reality series, but… Alright, I admit it. I watched it religiously. Can you believe it? Yeah, I know. I thought I was better than that too. Anyway, if you’ve ever seen the show, you know why it held my attention. Those people are ruthless! Pretty called New York out on having sloppy weave. Tailor Made and Buddha got into a fist-fight. This was not the celebrated, soft-core white people crap you see on MTV. Anyway, supposedly there was a porno tape floating around with New York, aka Tiffany Pollard, as the star. From People TV:
” Tiffany “New York” Pollard survived her sex tape drama with her usual moxie — and her new fiancé’s love and support.
The I Love New York star is relieved and thrilled that MediaTakeOut.com yanked the grainy, explicit tape from its website. “We understand that New York is now claiming that it’s not her in the tape,” the website says in an editor’s update. “In fairness to New York, the video has been removed.”
Says Pollard: “I’m so happy they pulled it. As I’ve said again and again, it wasn’t me in that tape and this proved it.”
That doesn’t mean the ordeal was easy to endure. When a friend called the VH1 star on Sunday to tell her that the site had posted what it claimed was a sex tape of Pollard, she immediately turned to her Prince Charming — fiancé “Tailor Made” (a.k.a. George Weisgerber). “Oh, my George,” Pollard sighed to PEOPLE in a recent interview. “I told him what happened and he said, ‘I stand by you.’ He didn’t question me. He helped me relax about it.”
Not an easy feat, considering she “blew a gasket” when she learned about the tape. “I was floored,” she said. “I thought, ‘I have to clear this up.’ It saddened me as a woman and as a black woman. (MediaTakeOut.com calls itself ‘the most visited black website in the world.’) I feel violated because it’s not me. If that were me, I would stand by it. They crossed the line.”
Besides the support she got from Weisgerber, who proposed on I Love New York 2’s Jan. 6 reunion show, she dealt with the scandal with her typical “New York” take-no-prisoners attitude. “I’m not going to let this (put) me in a state of being sad or feeling beaten up. I’m gonna be a big girl about it. I’m gonna stay strong.”
Still, she adds: “It’s a disgusting thing to have to go through.”“
I think it’s adorable how Tailor Made, the total puppy that he is, was right there, being the doormat again. It could’ve been a porno tape made a week before with some other random guy, and Tailor Made would have said, ‘Oh, I love you New York; here, walk on me baby, you know how I like having your foot up my ass.’ The guy has no balls, but, truthfully, he was the best choice out of all the contestants.
