The really sick thing about this to me, is that the photographer taking shots of Miley that day, was a female. All these magazines and celebrity statements, etc., try to claim that they support female empowerment, and are all about women moving forward in the future. And then you get some creepy old bitch trying to manipulate a fifteen year old girl into taking her clothes off for magazine photos? I’m glad that Miley has seen the “error of her ways” but what about the adults in the room at the time? Billy Ray Cyrus, according to recent statements, along with Miley’s mother, were not actually in the studio at the time. Would Billy Ray have allowed some money hungry old bat take naked pictures of his daughter had he been there? From InTouch:

“The photographer behind the now-infamous “topless” shot of Miley Cyrus released a statement yesterday defending the picture. “I’m sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted,” says Vanity Fair lenswoman Annie Leibovitz. “Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.” While both of Miley’s parents, including dad Billy Ray Cyrus, were at the photo shoot, they left before the controversial picture was taken. However, Miley’s grandmother and teacher were present, which Vanity Fair was quick to point out. “Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day,” said a magazine spokeswoman. “Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley.” The 15-year-old issued an apology for the revealing picture on Sunday.”

She’s a f*cking minor people! It doesn’t matter! If she isn’t old enough to legally smoke, or drink, then the plain and simple truth of the matter is that she should not be having pictures like that taken of her and distributed for public view. I’m all for love, peace, and all that great shit. But children should be allowed to be children. And a child’s right to be a child, should be protected. And if the people standing in the room that day, while they watched a CHILD stripping down and be exploited by the camera, cannot appreciate that, then they all should be slapped. Whatever she lets leak out on her own time is her business. And where are the parents, when Miley’s posing in a bra on top of a boyfriend for a picture? Miley’s parents need to step forward, and take some responsibility.

It’s too bad that just when you think that a new “good girl” has come to Hollywood, they seem to blow it by appearing on the Internet or in a magazine with their body hanging all over the place. And such is the case with Miley Cyrus. She recently did a photo shoot for Vanity Fair in which Annie Leibovitz shot her in at least one provocative pose in which Miley was clearly not wearing a shirt and her top half could have easily been exposed. She says in USA Today,

“I think it’s really artsy. It wasn’t in a skanky way. Annie took, like, a beautiful shot, and I thought that was really cool. That’s what she wanted me to do, and you can’t say no to Annie. She’s so cute. She gets this puppy-dog look and you’re like, ‘OK.’ “

But then Miley decided once the photos came out that maybe they weren’t so “artsy” after all and that they veered more toward the “skanky” side. In her next statement she said,

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” she said in a statement issued by her publicist, Jill Fritzo. “I never intended for any of this to happen, and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”

It’s unfortunate that with young woman such as Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears giving young female celebritites such a bad name in Hollywood that people are forced to look to a 15 year old girl for a role model. Isn’t she supposed to have role models and not be a role model? She may be a little young still to tell the difference between artsy and skanky and it’s probably best not to take photos just because someone asks you nicely.

On the one hand, I think it’s adorable that Miley Cyrus has a romantic interest. She’s getting out there into the world, and making an effort to show other teens that it’s not cool to get pregnant. Like some other pregnant celebrities we know of, cough-Jamie Lynn Spears-cough. On the other hand, is making known publicly a crush on a guy ten years older very healthy? From Us Magazine:

“She has scored a hit TV show, a smash film, a sold-out tour and an appearance on the Oscars but 15-year-old Power Girl Miley Cyrus has her sights set on a crush: Ryan Cabrera.

“Ryan Cabrera is really cute,” the star says in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now.

At least her father, Billy Ray would approve of the 25-year-old singer. She told Us, “He’s a friend of my dad’s!”"

Okay, cool, fine. We all remember what it was like to swoon over the Backstreet Boys. But maybe making a public statement to a celeb rag like Us isn’t so great. Especially because of the light they put it in. I doubt any father would approve of a 25 year old grown man for his 15 year old daughter. There’s a legal term for that. Apparently, whomever typed this one up approves of statutory rape and pedophilia. Nice writing, Us Weekly.

….That really aren’t all that naughty. As a matter of fact, the photos shown here are pretty innocent, as far as anything sexual goes. For someone her age, Miley Cyrus has been growing up fairly well, considering her celebrity connections, and heritage. Kissing a friend, or pretending to kiss with candy in one’s mouth, is fairly harmless. From M&C People:

“Another young star has been sideswiped by photos being leaked on to the Internet. Miley Cyrus, the famous star of Hannah Montana who is currently on tour, is very upset over photos circulating online of Cyrus frolicking with a friend on a hotel floor.

“They’re nothing bad!” the 15-year-old teen sensation told New York’s Z100 radio station on Friday night.

The candid photos, which have been making the rounds online, show Miley sitting on the floor of a hotel with one of her friends getting close, goofing around and sharing a piece of candy.

But Miley claims the snapshots are completely innocent.

“There was nothing wrong with it. It’s two girls at a sleepover. And if all of a sudden that’s bad, then what is the world coming to?” a frustrated Miley told Z100’s Niko prior to her sold-out concert at Nassau Coliseum on Friday night.

“Honestly, I just try to keep my cool. At first, I was really upset. It really sucks to be honest. It was a friend of mine that’s a normal girl and ” look at me getting all upset ” the worst part is she has to go to school and deal with that crap,” Miley continued. “I have to deal with that anyways. I deal with it all the time.”

She called the blonde girl in the photos with her “one of my best friends.”"

Miley has a lot of maturity for someone her age, and it’s pretty perverse of the media to attack a -child- for being sexual, when these photos depict clearly nothing more than two friends goofing off. Advice for Miley; don’t worry, in the end, you’ll always have more money than the people ragging on you, and in today’s world, that’s what counts.

This admission comes from a teen magazine, “J-14″ — that is more than likely a bunch of crap. But, nevertheless, it is a rumour, which means that I have to do my utmost to let my dear readers now that it is a possibility that someone their kids are watching on the Disney channel, is a dirty fornicator. From J-14:

“Yes, sadly it’s true. Miley herself confirmed the pregnancy rumors during a J-14 interview. ‘I’m going to take good care of my baby. I’ve already gained 7 pounds. I was in real shock when it happened accidentally. I went a little too far. I’m sorry to all of my fans’,” the magazine photo reports Miley as saying.

“While Miley is still planning on going on tour for her new solo cd, she’s currently filming the series finale of ‘Hannah Montana’. Even though she’s keeping hush about who’s the father. Miley’s parents are very disappointed in her: ‘Whatever’s meant to happen will happen. I guess it was meant to be this way.”

Miley Cyrus is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, and is more than likely just the victim of cruel rumours circulating after someone decided that the Vanessa Hudgens‘ nude pics, and pregnancy stories weren’t selling. Just because a girl takes dirty pictures of herself, doesn’t mean she’s pregnant. It just means that Vanessa isn’t the role model parents thought she was. And Miley is more than likely just being talked about out of boredom. But it -is- possibly, ladies and gentlemen.
