After months and months of blogging and tabloid reporting all the way along Jamie Lynn Spears’ pregnancy, it’s finally all over as she delivered a baby girl this morning. From Ninja Dude,

“PEOPLE confirms exclusively that the baby was named Maddie Briann. “Just the family was there,” says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. “Everyone is healthy and happy.” Jamie Lynn’s sister Britney, father Jamie and brother Bryan flew in Wednesday to be with her for the birth; her mother Lynne had been with her helping her get ready for the baby.”

I just think - finally!!!! Not only did she finally have her baby but there’s also a celebrity who finally named their child something normal! No fruit or field workers names here, just simply Maddie Briann. Totally southern, totally sweet and I’m very happy for her! Looks like her sister, Britney got there just in time as she has recently gone to the family’s home to be with her sister. It’s a happy time for them and hopefully, people won’t want to turn it into something sour.

Will Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears ever tire of making money off of their kids? Probably not. First Jamie quit his full-time job to be Britney’s full-time conservator. In case you don’t remember, it was right around the time that she was actually starting to get her life back together and probably didn’t need Daddy Dearest to be making huge career moves. Now Lynne Spears is releasing a memoir so that she can speak on what it’s like to raise two famous kids. From Fashion.ie,

“When Jamie Lynn Spears got pregnant, the book was put on hold,” a representative for Spears’ publisher, Thomas Nelson Inc., said.
“But Lynne never stopped working on it because she wants to express her love for CA$H her children and tell their stories through her eyes.”
“[It] will not be a parenting book,” the rep said of the book, which was originally set to be titled simply Pop Culture Mom.
“It’s [Lynne Spears] telling her story of what it was like being a mom and raising two very famous people. It’s a memoir.”

This is the biggest load of bull I’ve ever heard! No kidding it’s not a parenting book! Because she is perhaps one of the world’s worst mothers! Other news stories stated that Lynne would be speaking on the dark period in Britney’s life. Ummm…shouldn’t Britney write about that if she wants to? What right does her mother have to go and put it all out there so the world can see more than what we already have? It will be amazing to me if Jamie Lynn Spears and Britney Spears can manage to keep any sort of normal relationship with either of their parents after all the crap they’ve pulled.

There’s little doubt that Jamie Lynn Spears has had a lot going on lately and it seems that the stress may be getting to her. First she gets pregnant by Casey Aldridge. Then, at a time when she needs support the most, her sister Britney starts freaking right out due to a mental condition and her parents fly off to L.A. to be with big sis instead. Then, seeking out whatever support she can, she goes to a medical center to get help and is turned away. All seemed to be going okay when it came out that she and Aldridge had plans to get married but now, even that has been turned upside-down. From Gossip Girls,

“Jamie Lynn and Casey have been fighting non-stop about everything, from what to name the baby to what to eat for dinner. And now she’s called off their wedding plans.”

Another insider claims that Jamie Lynn’s father Jamie has put his overseeing of Britney on hold to be with her. “Jamie Lynn, Jamie and her mom are all staying at Serenity [the Spears family estate in Kentwood, Louisiana] right now. They’ve been busy decorating the baby nursery.”

Well it seems that now that Britney has gotten her life back on track, her parents can finally find time for the daughter they seem to have forgotten. I can only hope that things work out for Jamie Lynn. I do feel for her. Teen pregnancy happens and although unfortunate, the teen does need an outpouring of love like she has never seen before and she just hasn’t been getting it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jamie Lynn and Casey didn’t last. Again, it wouldn’t be ideal but they’re teenagers! How many of us can say that we’re still with our teenage sweetheart?

And this is really what the whole conflict comes down to. Remember when you were in school and your mom says “That boy/girl is a bad influence! Don’t let me see you hanging around him/her!”? That’s the whole Sam Lutfi/Britney Spears issue in a nutshell. Britney Spears‘ parents both agree that Sam Lutfi and their daughter should not associate, and they’ve even issued a restraining order on Sam to keep him at bay. From InTouch:

“Britney Spears‘ former BFF and onetime manager, Sam Lutfi, has agreed to stay away from the singer until July 31. Sam was issued a restraining order in February after Brit’s mom, Lynne Spears, accused him of drugging the singer. Restraining orders can be extended up to five years, according to legal experts. In the meantime, Britney’s father, Jamie, and a lawyer retain their conservatorship of her estate until July 31, when it will be reviewed by the court. Their control is expected to be extended.”

So around early August or late July, Britney might be getting either further control from her parents, or more independence. At this point, it’s really hard to say what Britney’s best interests even are, though it appears that her father’s conservatorship over her property and self, might be helping. Perhaps in August, Britney might make some turn-around. Things have already quietened down a lot in that area, and she’s even been invited back to “How I Met Your Mother.”

Britney Spears has been well on her way to recovery lately. She’s on medication for bipolar disorder, has regained visitation with her sons and seems to no longer be into doing things such as shaving her head or holding her children hostage. With all of these wonderful steps forward, it seems that Britney wants to make things right once and for all by going back to where it all started to go so wrong - with her divorce from Kevin Federline.

The two recently spent a romantic weekend together in Hawaii and Britney began talks of them getting back together and raising their family as two parents in love. She also gave him a very expensive Jacob & Co. diamond-encrusted watch. From digital spy,

“Britney’s father James, who is also acting as her conservator, and mother Lynne are said to be thrilled by their reconciliation.

“[James] personally approved the mini-vacation and birthday present purchases,” a source told the Daily Star Sunday. “There is nothing more he and Brit’s mom Lynne would love than for her and Kevin to get back together.

“Kevin’s whole attitude to his ex-wife has changed. He can see she is responding to treatment for her bipolar disorder, staying sober and trying to rebuild her life and career.”

While I don’t care much for Federline, and I have begun to lose faith in Britney, I do think it would be great if these two could find their way back to each other. Their two children deserve parents that are happy, together, and sober.

Of course it’s old news by now that Jamie Lynn Spears is expecting a baby with Casey Aldridge but they have found their way back to the magazine covers and gossip columns with the ring that Jamie Lynn is wearing on her left ring finger. She seems to be very excited about it and is flashing the bling to all of her family and friends. From Celebitchy,

“Mom-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears is sporting some sparkling new jewelry – an engagement ring from fiancé Casey Aldridge.

Spears, 16, has been flashing the rock to friends and family around Louisiana and Mississippi, a source close to the family tells PEOPLE.

“She’s got an engagement ring,” the source says. “She’s been showing it off, talking about it.”

Spears and her 18-year-old fiancé are expecting the baby this summer. No official word yet on a wedding date for the couple.”

I’m sure that Lynne Spears is absolutely mortified that her youngest daughter has gotten engaged since she was pretty clear in her interviews that this baby did not mean wedding bells in the near future. I’m also just as sure that Jamie Lynn doesn’t care much what her parents think in this case as she has been pretty bitter that they are putting all of their energy into getting her sister, Britney Spears back to normal.

Is this a good idea? I think no. I’m just not a big fan of teenagers getting married. Let’s hope that Jamie Lynn has learned what not to do from her sister and she might stand a chance of making a go of it.

Despite recent reports of Jamie Lynn Spears being troubled about all the attention her sister, Britney Spears was getting, instead of her, Jamie Lynn is a happy mommy-to-be. By the way, those bastards at the “crisis clinic” had better hope and pray that they don’t get sued. Turning away a teen with a crisis? Assholes. Anyway, Jamie Lynn’s happiness is, for the most part, what counts. Sources are saying that Jamie Lynn is having a boy, which is pretty amazing, considering the fact that Britney has sons as well. The sisters should probably consider themselves pretty lucky; at least they won’t have to suffer through a repeat of their own decisions. From In Touch:

“Looks like it could be another grandson for Jamie and Lynne Spears. According to reports, their youngest daughter (and sister of Britney) Jamie Lynn is getting ready for a baby boy. The young mommy-to-be was spotted at luxury baby boutique Petit Trésor in West Hollywood on February 25 picking up presents for a baby boy and has also purchased about $7,000 of “very basic” furniture for a nursery, including a round crib, changing table and armoire, all in white. “This is the most fun I’ve had shopping in a long time!” Jamie Lynn was overheard saying. ”

I know we here at HH are at least happy that Jamie Lynn is less depressed at this point, and hopefully, she’ll continue to be positive. However, in no way, shape or form does that mean that the situation either sister has been placed in by their own choices is appropriate. The fact that Jamie Lynn is building a nursery also establishes that she plans to keep the baby, which should make for interesting news later. Sorry Britney, but most of us are hoping she does a better job with her kid than you; sad but true.

While the entire world seems to be trying to think of solutions to help Britney Spears, that doesn’t seem to be the case for pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears, who is having a hard time with her pregnancy. She has been having severe morning sickness and because she’s gained weight. She is  upset that her mother and father are spending so much time trying to get Britney back to good mental health while she is left at home and having to turn to a crisis centre for help. From Page Six,

“the 16-year-old turned to the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Southwest Mississippi for help on Friday. “

According to a family insider, Jamie Lynn is frustrated that her mother is focusing so much of her energy on her older sister. “Jamie Lynn wants her parents to stop babying Britney,” the source says.

“It is stressful for Lynne and Jamie because they know Britney is in trouble and they want Jamie Lynn to understand it. The teenager was turned away at the Crisis Pregnancy Center because the facility was not open.”

Jamie Lynn is also  concerned about the fact that she has already gained twenty pounds and Page Six also says,

“For a lot of women it’s not big deal, but for a 16-year-old, it has stressed her out.”

There are just so many things wrong with this picture. Yes, her parents need to be with her big sister but I believe that they also need to realize that they do have a younger daughter at home that is going through something very major as well. Why do they both need to be with Britney? And as Page Six also reports, when Jamie Lynn went the crisis centre was closed, the director of the facility stated,

“I don’t know why Jamie Lynn Spears would come here on a Friday. We’re closed. Jamie Lynn’s not in our Mommy and Me program or taking parenting classes with us. I don’t know why she would come. She hasn’t contacted us about coming here or ever called. She’s never made a financial donation or anything like that.”

Now I realize that there probably wasn’t anything the centre could do about being closed. But did they have to speak about Jamie Lynn like she’s some kind of idiot because of it? And this crisis centre, that is funded by a church, is laughing at people for going because they’re not part of their Mommy and me program? Oh, am I sorry, wasn’t it also because Jamie Lynn has never given them any money? They should be ashamed of themselves.

The parents of the Spears girls need to realize that they have two daughters. And while Jamie Lynn may just outwardly be concerned about her nausea and weight gain, she is a sixteen-year-old girl about to become a parent! She may have a little more going on in her head that she could really use her parent’s help with. God, it’s no wonder Britney’s so screwed up!

Well, hell, I would be too. Considering the insane crap that Britney’s going through, and her very short stay at the hospital, I doubt much help has really been given. That’s the thing with celebrities though. Despite all attempts to “help” Britney Spears is going to do whatever she wants. She’s an adult, and even a crazed, irresponsible adult is going to have their way in the end. From Us Weekly:

“Eight hours after Britney Spears was released from UCLA Medical Center, her parents, Jamie and Lynne, released the following statement to the Associated Press:

“As parents of an adult child in the throes of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe,” the statement read.

“We are deeply concerned about our daughter’s safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court’s orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted.”

Citing patient privacy, a UCLA Medical Center spokeswoman has declined to comment.”

They’re right; Britney’s life is most likely at risk, and has a hospital of medicine, however pathetic, seeing as how it is mainly a celebrity hospital, it’s their job to see that a patient is treated. The UCLA Medical Center is a sad blight on the medical community, and makes methadone clinics worldwide look like caring facilities.

I’m almost positive that this is generally due to Lynne Spears being a huge drama queen. I mean, if Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, is the one with custody right now, then why the hell is Lynne Spears big fat nose still in it? The world may never know, however… Lynne Spears did submit a statement, about all the bizarre sh*t that goes on at Britney’s house. It’s like reading a portion of a Dean Koontz novel. “As if anyone needs another glimpse into the lunacy that is Britney Spears’s life (and that of her assorted footmen and paparazzi cohorts), the singer’s mother has filed a court declaration purporting to describe how her troubled daughter came under the sway of a manipulative manager who drugged the pop star and drove her further from reality. In a Los Angeles Superior Court filing, Lynne Spears describes a series of increasingly bizarre episodes at her daughter’s Los Angeles home, where the performer was regularly in the company of businessman Osama (Sam) Lutfi. The declaration, a copy of which you’ll find below, was filed by the elder Spears in support of a temporary restraining order application against Lutfi. That request was granted last week by an L.A. court commissioner who ordered Lutfi to stay away from Spears, who is now confined to a psychiatric ward at the UCLA Medical Center. In a court form accompanying her declaration, Lynne Spears, 52, alleges that Lutfi “drugged Britney. He has cut Britney’s home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything–Britney’s business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate.” The court declaration–itself brimming with the kind of Spears-brand crazy that has filled tabloids for months–portrays the 26-year-old performer as manic, agitated, and delusional. But you knew that already.”

Well, yeah, that’s pretty weird. On the whole though, I think adults are going to do what they want, and hopefully Britney gets help where she is now. If any of those things are true, than yeah, Sam Lufti needs to be out of the picture. To read the rest of the bizarre document, click the picture.

Oh, the loathed possibility that somewhere out there, someone is watching you on their computer, doing it doggy-style, while snorting lines of cocaine off of the bare floor. Britney Spears has now entered that realm of worry; –I’m surprised she ever left? Apparently Britney is worried that someone has stolen sex tapes from her house which depict her very vividly enjoying her extra-curricular activities. From The List:

“Britney Spears is “on the edge” after discovering sex tapes were stolen from her Beverly Hills home.

The troubled singer - who is currently undergoing psychiatric treatment at Los Angeles’ UCLA Medical Center - is said to be terrified that “valuable items” taken from her sprawling mansion on Friday night (01.02.08) included X-rated footage of her taking drugs and having sex.

A source close to the singer said: “This is the last thing Britney needs. She’s on the edge because all her secrets could now be revealed. Some of the things that may have been taken are dynamite.”

This would not be the first time Britney has been involved in a sex tape scandal.

Footage apparently showing the singer performing oral sex on ex-husband Kevin Federline was leaked on the internet last year, but was eventually classed as fake.

More recently, there were reports of Britney, 26, starring in another sex tape where she sported a shaven head and performed a sex act on two women and a man while consuming cocaine and marijuana. However, the footage was never made public.

Los Angeles Police Department officer Alex Martinez confirmed police had responded to a call originating from Britney’s house, but said he had no idea what had happened, adding: “The report is being processed through our system. We do not have access to it.”

Meanwhile, Britney - who was involuntarily committed to the Stewart and Lynda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA last week after being classed as G.D. (gravely disabled) - will now spend an additional 14 days in the ward, after her psychiatrist deemed she wasn’t well enough to leave.

Britney - who is now legally under the care of her father Jamie Spears following a court hearing on Friday - has already been transferred to a ‘quiet room’ after arguing with doctors following her committal.

A hospital insider told People magazine: “It is a terrible situation. Britney is in a padded room. Her family is so worried about her.”"

Ew; god I hope I never have to see the other tape. And don’t tell me, “well, you don’t have to look.” Not true, in this line of work. Poor Britney, in a padded room, and under the care of her father. For some reason, we don’t hear too much about her father. Lynne Spears, however, almost always has her name in the papers. Hopefully, Brit’s dad can help her through this, and keep her snaggle-toothed mother off the scene.

Britney Spears has been hospitalized again, after what was first reported as a suicide attempt on Wednesday. Her house was surrounded by helicopters, ambulances, cops, and paparazzi. According to the other rags, Britney’s mom, Lynne Spears, Alli Sims, and Adnan Ghalib, her boyfriend were all there too. From Perez Hilton:

“The police showed up at Britney Spears‘ house AGAIN on Wednesday night. Helicopters, dozens and dozens of paparazzi. Almost 100. Britney’s mom. Alli. They all were there.The scene was chaos.

Rumors were swirling that troubled mother of two attempted suicide. Thankfully, she is said to be without harm and nothing serious happened. The attempted suicide reports are false.”

Later on, in the wee hours of Thursday morning, Britney Spears‘ psychiatrist insisted that she be committed. The ambulance showed up later and escorted her away to the bin. From Perez Hilton:

“After another dramatic evening on Wednesday, Britney is finally going to get the help she needs.A psychiatrist she has been seeing, who was at her home last night, is intent on having her committed AS WE TYPE.

The shrink called police after growing concerned with Spears‘ deteriorating behavior.

An ambulance arrived at her house at approximately 1:00 A.M. Pacific.”

Later on, the ambulance left, and later, Britney was admitted into the UCLA Medical Center where she was promptly checked into psychiatric care facilities within the hospital. More from Perez Hilton:

“An ambulance left Britney Spears‘ house around 1:20 A.M this morning. The windows were covered and a police convoy of what seems like DOZENS of cops lead the way.Britney was in the ambulance and she arrived at UCLA Medical Center around 1:35 A.M.

Following the ambulance were none other than Lynne Spears and Adnan Ghalib - in the same car.

Britney is going to be put under a 5150 psychiatric hold at the hospital for 72 hours. Hopefully her treatment will be extended.

Spears has been under the treatment of a psychiatrist, who was at her home Wednesday night and placed a call to the authorities, which triggered Brit’s hospitalization.

Britney had not slept in days and her shrink was concerned for her deteriorating condition.”

All things considered, it’s difficult to take a step back, and really look at a time-line of Britney Spears‘ life. She had everything going for her, when she was younger, working her way into the world of pop culture with a great voice, and fresh style. Once she was sucked into the negative view of the media, things gradually continue to roll downhill for her. With all the recent celebrity deaths, it really is an eye opener to see someone moving in the same direction. We all hope and pray that eventually, someone or something will intervene, and get Britney back on track.

That’s what the cover page of Star magazine is screaming. All I have to say is: Good for you! Obviously, Jamie Lynn has the capacity to think for herself, and possibly for think for the good of her children; something both her mother, Lynne Spears, and sister, Britney Spears, are obviously incapable of. Although, according to other media Britney Spears was the first to suggest to Jamie Lynn not keeping the baby, back in early January. From the PopCrunch:

“Britney Spears wants her pregnant sixteen year old sister to put her unborn baby up for adoption. The pop mom had warned her sister “not to ruin her life by going through with the pregnancy” and it appears that Brit’s advice has lead to a split for the Spears sisters.

A spywitness tells The National Enquirer:

“Britney told Jamie Lynn it was best for her to get an abortion and move on with her life and career and not to look back.”

“Britney is worried that Jamie Lynn has ruined her budding career and she will be trapped in Louisiana with her mom as a struggling single parent.”

A feisty Jamie Lynn told her big sis that she is making “her own decision and not letting anyone tell her to get rid of her baby.”

“Jamie Lynn really thought Britney might have been the only one to understand her feelings about having a baby, since she has two babies of her own,” the Enquirer’s mole added.”

I don’t want to start the whole “pro-life vs. pro-choice” argument. But considering the Spears family’s drama with children, I don’t think abortion is the worst advice Britney could have given her. Here’s some news for Jamie Lynn: Your sister was an adult when she had her children. You are not an adult. You are a child. A sixteen year old is not ready to give birth in this era, and it’s a god damn shame that some of them, and younger still do. This chain should have been broken years ago; when is the mother going to step up to the plate, and stop being such a publicity whore? When is Britney going to finally realize that she is influencing the life of her sibling, and start acting like a role model? The world may never know, but if this is going to ever get anywhere, the right people need to take the blame. This should be an eye opener for sh*tty parents all over the world. Raise your damn kids! It is not the job of television, or teachers, or the god forsaken Internet! Get off the couch, hang up your cell phones, and pay attention!

In July, we reported on Jamie Lynn Spears being pregnant, as per quoted within the National Enquirer, and it was blown into a wild, “Nuh uh!” ordeal throughout the media. Before I go any further, the first thing I wanna say to all of my non-believers is “HAHA! Told you so!” and the second question I’m raising is, –is she really only five weeks pregnant? The National Enquirer picked up on this in July, so is it just a coincidence that suddenly she’s confirming pregnancy? Hmmm. From Hollywood Heartbreaker in July:

The irony in this, is that since I was seriously wondering what Lynne Spears‘ parental philosophies are, now I can’t find out. Why, you may ask? Well, the paradox, folks, is that this utter antithesis of a good parent, –opinion based on obvious evidence, Lynne Spears, wrote a book about parenting. However, the book has been put on hold, according to People, because her underage daughter, Jamie Lynn Spears is knocked up. Yeah, I can see why that might not be a bestseller, unless, as I would, people bought it simply for the hilarity factor. From People:

“The book is delayed indefinitely. It’s delayed, not cancelled,” says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles.

It had been scheduled for a spring 2008 release and was put on hold last week, says the rep. On Tuesday, news hit that 16-year-old Jamie Lynn is pregnant with her boyfriend’s child.

Publishers’ Weekly described the book as “Lynne Spears’s personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community.”

The publisher declined to comment on whether the focus of the book would change in light of the pregnancy announcement.

“We are standing behind Lynn at this time and understand that she needs time with her family – we support that,” says the spokeswoman.”

Riiight. But no title? I can think of one; “How To Raise Taboo Celebrities From Redneckville” or maybe, “Raising Two Screw-Ups Really Badly; A Comprehensive Guide For The Welfare Oriented.” Those are great, I think; probably the second one, in my opinion.
