Lindsay Lohan and her father Michael clearly don’t get along but I don’t understand why they need to drag it out for all the world to see. Well, I can see why she does because someone has to defend her and clearly, that someone is going to be her. But what he’s doing now is just ridiculous and there seems to be no reason for it.
Michael Lohan has now told the media that Lindsay had every intention of going on a mission to India soon with the church he belongs to. Say what?!? It’s absolutely preposterous!! And Lindsay seems to think so too. From Celebitchy,
“I just wish that he wouldn’t go and talk to the media,” she said Friday on radio’s The Billy Bush Show. “It’s not attractive to me, it really upsets me and I wish he would stop. … I love my father. I just don’t know why he’s doing what he’s doing. It’s a weird situation, very odd.”
And for whatever reason, Michael thought that he had to fight back. He phoned back into the radio show saying,
“I think we can all see that her present so-called friends and management have her focused on the wrong projects and things,” he told me. “If Lindsay would just listen to me and follow my guidance, like she did when her life was on the right path, and before the people you see now that are in her life, I guarantee that her life would straighten out and she’d be back to being the gifted actress everyone knew and loved.”
Besides these ridiculous stories about Lindsay travelling abroad to preach to people, what kind of father says these things about his daughter? He’s basically telling people that she’s no longer talented in her career of choice and that no one likes her anymore. Oh, that’s nice.
It sounds to me as though he is trying to make excuses for his daughter and he doesn’t realize that he no longer needs to. Lindsay’s choices, good or bad, are in fact Lindsay’s choices. It’s what we call being an adult. Did he ever stop to think that forcing her to live the “good girl” life may have had something to do with her out of control rebellion? Whatever the reasoning, she has her own life now and what she chooses to do with it is no one but Lindsay’s decision. Why does a parent need to be told that?
Aaron Carter, definitely not so young and innocent nowadays, was busted on -budumcha!- Drug Charges! Marijuana, just under two ounces was found in the little heathen’s Cadillac Escalade on the 22nd. Nice. He’s the up and coming male counterpart of Lindsay Lohan. It’s a wonder she hasn’t slept with him yet. They could have little delinquent babies. From In Touch:

He was pulled over by cops for speeding in Kimble County and a search of his Cadillac Escalade turned up less than two ounces of marijuana. Not only was he arrested for drugs, but in Texas! Where they do all sorts of things to pretty little blonde boys in jail… And still carry the timeless tradition of the death sentence. He got to spend the night in a jail cell in a town called Junction too, which made me giggle out loud when I read it. Aaron Carter, welcome to Malfunction Junction! Lindsay Lohan and Calum Best have been enjoying a romantic holiday in the Bahamas recently. The young couple - who got back together again about two weeks ago - were frolicking and wrestling in the water on a secluded beach in the Bahamas. The romantic couple were so wrapped up in each other, that they even kissed openly and in full view of the other vacationers.
Lohan, 20, invited Calum, a model, and son of football legend George Best, to the premiere of her latest movie ‘Georgia Rule’. But it was last November, when the two got together during the World Music Awards that Lohan was hosting.
Lohan and Best were also spotted partying together in New York with the Lohan’s mother, Dina.
But Dave Read, Calum’s spokesman doesn’t think it will be a lasting relationship as Calum has a reputation for womanizing. He said, “Calum and Lindsay get on really well together. But this is Calum. We’ll have to see.”
Both Lindsay and Calum boast of an impressive list of ex-lovers. While Lindsay is rumored to have enjoyed flings with Robbie Williams, James Blunt, and Jamie Burke, Calum is known to have been involved with Kimberley Stewart, Elizabeth Jagger and Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding.
As you already know James Blunt and Petra Nemcova split in February, though it was on amicable terms and they remain good friends. Additionally Blunt has recently been seen partying with Lindsay Lohan, and was spotted with her on numerous occasions in LA, including a hot Wednesday night, where they ended at Lohan’s place. They eat up breakfast together on Thursday morning and finally they met again at Blunt’s hotel room around 3am. Saturday morning.
Calling someone a C U Next Tuesday..is never a nice thing to do…but then again Lindsay Lohan doesn’t care about being nice…especially when it comes to Paris Hilton.

“Things got really heated earlier this week when Lindsay freaked out on Paris at Hyde (a West Hollywood lounge),” says a source. “Paris was chatting with Harry Morton [Lohan's ex]. They’re friends and have known each other for years. And, Lohan is an obsessive control freak and super jealous. Even though she’s no longer dating Harry she lost it when she came into Hyde and saw Paris and Harry chatting. She screamed at them and then stormed out!”
