After a long tour, Joel Madden finally comes home. Nicole Richie couldn’t wait to see him as her and baby Harlow went to LAX to welcome him home. Apparently, Richie doesn’t have a nanny and so she’s had to watch that little girl all by herself. Can you imagine? How hard that must be for a big celebrity with zillions of dollars! From Gossip Girls,

“Nicole would be happier if he [Joel] just focused on his clothing line. His music takes him away from her and it’s difficult for her to be watching the baby alone while he’s out touring. Nicole doesn’t have a full-time nanny, so she’s watching the baby around the clock and it has taken a toll.”

While at the airport, Nicole left Harlow hidden under a blanket so there would be no snapshots taken of the little one. I wonder what the hardest part is for Nicole. The middle of the night feedings or not being able to go out partying whenever she chooses? I know she cleaned her act up during the pregnancy and right after the baby was born but I’m predicting that she will start slipping. Not only is she notorious for it but she’s now forever tied to a rock star, for cryin out loud!

I know, most of you Hilton/Richie fans are going to lynch me for this, but how many people out there with good brains think that this business with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie both doing Madden brothers is a little suspect? Not that it’s necessarily a “hoax” as coined by Paris Hilton, but still kind of weird? I mean, I know Nicole and Paris like to do things together…. but this is taking it a little far. “Paris Hilton is speaking out for the first time about her overnight romance with Benji Madden.

“I’m really happy!” she said during an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show Friday morning. “I feel very safe and secure. He’s a great guy.

“He’s been my friend for a couple of years now, and we’re really happy,” gushed Hilton, who said Madden was by her side during the 8 a.m. telephone interview.

She said it was his idea to wear the matching ‘ BM‘ and ‘PH‘ rings. “That was a very special present I got,” Hilton said. “He’s really sweet.”

She also said her parents approve of the relationship. “They’re really happy for me!”

Madden’s twin brother, Joel, is dating Hilton’s BFF Nicole Richie, who recently welcomed daughter Harlow.

Throughout the interview, Seacrest teased her that their romance was just a spoof for Ashton Kutcher’s new E! prank show (Hilton recently staged a scene with a guru for the show).

“This is not for Pop Fiction,” Hilton insisted. “It’s not a hoax!”

Hilton and Madden first made their relationship public on February 21, smooching at Hollywood hot spot Villa.”

Pop Fiction is one of the most ingenious shows ever, and it’s sooo going to keep us dirty, shameless bloggers on our toes. However, Paris and Benji claim that they’re for real, which you know, is a little screwy. I guess, then Nicole and Paris will finally be sisters, and I can’t help but wonder if maybe this is just a convenient arrangement of fate… or a planned arrangement of “Yay! Now we’re really BFF!”

Today is Joel Madden’s birthday and Nicole Richie is throwing him a bash as the Good Charlotte star turns 29. While she was busy finding just the right decorations and other party paraphanelia, her father, Lionel Richie was busy giving us all an idea of what Nicole is like as a mother to baby Harlow. From Gossip Girls,

“That baby is the sweetest, most beautiful baby. Nicole’s kid is amazing. Talking of Nicole, Lionel proudly proclaimed that she “has turned into a full-fledged mom. It’s the most frightening thing in the world because you keep thinking, ‘Are you going out?’ And [she’s like], ‘No, dad, can’t go out! She has another feeding — I have to be right here!’”

Well it’s good to see that one party girl in LA knows when to stop the partying, at least for the time being. Maybe we’ll all start to see another side of Richie. That wouldn’t be terrible.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden welcomed their new baby daughter, Harlow Winter Kate Madden, into the world on Friday. She was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the wee thing weighed 6 lbs, 7 oz. People have been given first rights to the picture and Nicole and baby Harlow both appear to be glowing on the cover of the magazine.

Richie, who has always been known for her wild-child ways, and as she broadcasted to the entire nation on every single season of The Simple Life, claimed when she was pregnant that she was cleaning up her act. She told Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America,

“I would really want to be someone my child would look up to. When I found out that I was pregnant, there was just something inside of me that felt a responsibility to mend any issues that I’ve had with my parents in the past, because, listen, I’ve put them through a lot.”

Richie and Madden haven’t set a date for their nuptials but People also reports Madden as saying,

“Right now our priority is our family and is the baby.”

So they’ve had a baby and they’re going to get married at some point. Seems fairly normal. But one question. When are celebs going to start giving their children normal names?

For those of you that may care about the latest news on the Paris Hilton front, it is now rumoured that she is dating Benji Madden, a band member of Good Charlotte. Ben is the brother of Nicole Richie’s betrothed, Joel Madden. Nicole is reportedly the one who set Paris and Ben up. So I guess this means that they really have patched things up. Again, for those of you that care.

Paris and Ben have spent a weekend in St. Louis together where Hollywood Rag says,

“Paris only had eyes for Benji. As soon as she saw him she
walked over and gave him a huge slobbering kiss. Then they snuggled down in a corner booth. She stroked his arm and his leg while whispering sweet nothings in his ear.”

Now unlike some sweet Hollywood couples, this truly makes me sick. I mean, haven’t we really had enough of princess Paris? The two are a mismatch in the truest sense of the word and who knows how long this budding romance will last. I’m guessing not very long.

According to all the tabloids, it’s baby season in Hollywood. And it’s not even spring yet!

Everyone knows about Joel Madden and Nicole Richie’s new baby girl, Harlow Winter Kate Madden, apparently named for the season in which she’s graced us.

Nicole Kidman is also, finally pregnant, at which we’re all sure she’s overjoyed, despite already having two adopted children with the once dreamy, now skeezy, Tom Cruise.

Courtney Thorne-Smith, from According To Jim, has had a baby boy, with her husband Roger Fishman. Jacob Emerson Fishman was born on Friday.

Well-known comedian, David Alan Grier has also welcomed a new baby this winter, with his wife, Christine Y. Kim. Luisa Danbi Grier-Kim, translated to “sweet rain”, was born on Thursday.

And, good news! Rick Salomon and Pamela Anderson are not procreating! Pam has assured the worried public that she will not be spreading the evil seed of Rick Salomon, the co-star with Paris Hilton in ‘One night In Paris.’ Thank God for small favors, hm?

According to the hot press, Nicole Richie has popped the bun out of her oven, and Joel Madden is all smiles while welcoming the new baby girl into the world. The new baby girl’s name is Harlow Winter Kate Madden; a testament to the celebrity deft knack for picking the most ludicrous crap in the world to call their kids. From People:

“Nicole Richie and her rocker boyfriend Joel Madden are the parents of a daughter, the couple’s rep at Handprint Entertainment tells PEOPLE.

Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz.

“The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents,” says the rep, who confirmed the birth to PEOPLE exclusively.

Richie, 26, said she was pregnant in July, telling Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America: “I would really want to be someone my child would look up to.”

Later, Richie, who had a famously wild childhood, said the idea of parenthood had made her more mature. “When I found out that I was pregnant, there was just something inside of me that felt a responsibility to mend any issues that I’ve had with my parents in the past, because, listen, I’ve put them through a lot,” she said.

As for Good Charlotte frontman Madden, 28, he told PEOPLE in November he was looking forward to being a dad. “Having a baby is the most exciting thing that’s ever happened to me, and to us,” he said.

And the new parents plan to teach their little one the value of generosity. In December, the couple started the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation to help the less fortunate. “We want our child to be a part of the community, and to know that there’s a responsibility to help the community,” Madden said at the time.

The couple have yet to set a wedding date, but in September Madden said “marriage is in our future” – he just wasn’t sure when. “Right now our priority is our family and is the baby,” he said. “That’s all we’ve been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy.”"

Awww. Nicole Richie really has come a long way since her days of acting like a moron on The Simple Life with Paris Hilton. Ironic that most of the material in the lyrical content performed by Good Charlotte seems pretty anti-Hollywood. Hopefully, Paris is following Nicole’s good example. I mean, if someone as dingy as Nicole Richie can reform into the model personality she seems to present now, maybe Paris, and (dare I?!) possibly even Britney have hope.

Hilary Duff told Cosmopolitan magazine is a recent interview that she just isn’t ready for marriage. Of course, the rest of us star-savvy are wondering whether or not that might have anything to do with her ex, Joel Madden preparing for his baby with Nicole Richie. I would be a little bitter too. “While her ex Joel Madden preps for a new baby with Nicole Richie, singer Hilary Duff is delaying her own plans to start a family.

“I’m definitely not ready to get married,” Duff, 20, tells Cosmopolitan in its January issue. “I think a reason that people in this business get married young is that they feel like everything comes to them sooner in life. It’s normal to be like, ‘Okay, what’s next?’ “

Having famously dated Good Charlotte musician Madden for 18 months – before they broke up in November 2006 – Duff is currently dating NHL player Mike Comrie.

On the heels of this week’s Jennifer Love Hewitt controversy about body image, Duff said that, as a scrutinized starlet, she has fretted about her weight.

“You lose some happiness when that’s all you think about,” Duff says. “There definitely was a time, about a year and a half ago, when I was pretty obsessed with my body and my weight, but I’m better not stressing about my body all the time.”

She adds, “It’s not attractive when girls get super-skinny. Guys don’t like it. Girls don’t like you as much.”"

Hilary claims she stopped obsessing over her weight, and features, but later on, uses the way other people feel about how attractive she is, as a reason? I think, either way, Hilary cares just a little too much about what people are thinking of her. “Girls don’t like you as much”? What the hell is she talking about? Hilary Duff’s advice from Anni for the day is, stop freaking out, and get over Joel. Any way you look at it, it’s not healthy to care so much about your appearance; either take care of yourself or don’t, but do it for you, and no one else.

Joel Madden and Nichole Richie as part of their foundation, “The Richie Madden Children’s Foundation” gave out over $200,000 worth of baby gifts and supplies to 100 expecting mothers at an L.A. free clinic. From People:

“Not many kids have a foundation launched in their honor before they’re born. But that will be one of the many privileges bestowed upon Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s baby, due in January.

The couple hosted a surprise baby shower Monday for 100 expectant and new moms at the Los Angeles Free Clinic in Hollywood, where they handed out more than $200,000 worth of gifts. “The looks on their faces were priceless,” Richie told reporters after the shower. “Some of them didn’t even believe us [when they saw the gifts]. They thought we were joking.”

The Richie Madden Children’s Foundation (at richiemaddenfoundation.com), Madden said, was an idea the couple had when they found out they were expecting. “We grew up in Los Angeles,” he said, “and we want our child to be a part of the community, and to know that there’s a responsibility to help the community.”"

I thought this was definitely a beautiful Christmas story, and power to both Nicole and Joel for giving back to the community, especially at a time of the year when families need it most. And I can’t wait to see their baby in January.

Fresh off a recent break-up with Hilary Duff, Joel Madden cozied up to his new girlfriend, Nicole Richie at a Las Vegas New Year’s Eve Party. The two watched fireworks from the Ghostbar’s balcony and held hands and kissed flirtaciously all night. Love must be in the air for the Madden brothers, as Joel’s twin, Benji recently revealed that he and girlfriend, Sophie Monk are now engaged. Benji propsed to his Australian girlfriend on Christmas Eve.

Tell me it ain’t so…Nicole Richie & Joel Madden are totally bangin!

Us Weekly is reporting that the two have been dating for a couples weeks..(funny how his break-up with the Duffster just hit news stands a couple days ago..huh). Nicole & Joel have been getting cozy all over Hollywood first at Teddy’s Nightclub and then again at the Polo Lounge having dinner. Hand holding, cuddling and kissing…yep..it was all there. This couple is totally ONzo!

Word on the street is that teen queen Hilary Duff and her tattooed Good Charlotte boyfriend, Joel Madden are dunzo! Joel made an appearance at the Chicago club, Enclave last Wednesday and told clubgoers that he and Duff had split up. No official word has been released.

Hilary Duff has one less boyfriend to worry about. Maksim Miakovsky, an 18-year-old Russian immigrant, who moved to the United States for the sole purpose of wooing Hilary Duff was arrested over the weekend. He was arrested for threatening to kill the object of his affection…Miss Duff, herself.

In early October, Hilary Duff and her boyfriend Joel Madden attempted to get a restraining order against Miakovsky, claiming their lives were in danger. On Friday, a private investigator contacted Miakovsky at his hotel room residence. The obsessive fan then revealed his plan to kill Hilary at an event she was scheduled to perform at on Sunday. He was subsequently arrested and is being held on a $200,000 bond.

Hilary Duff, obviously afraid for her life, decided to go incognito to the event by arriving at the Bogart Backstage Children’s Choice Awards with newly dyed locks.
