I don’t think Gwen Stefani will ever give us a reason not to love her and this past Sunday, she gave us reason to love her even more. Her son, Kingston Rossdale turned two on Sunday and the family had a few close friends over that just happened to include Hollywood parents with their Hollywood babies. Different from Tom and Katie’s affair for Suri, Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale celebrated their son’s big day with a lot of fun and friends and there has not yet been any talk of a $5,000 birthday cake. Gwen and Gavin actually didn’t have one birthday party for the kids and then later a $100,000 catered dinner for adults. But I digress as I’m trying to make peace with TomKat. From Gossip Girls here are some details on Kingston’s big party,

“Yesterday the “Hella Good” singer and her “Glycerine” hubby invited a who’s who of celebrity parents over to their Beverly Hills, California estate for a killer kids’ soiree.

Christina Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman arrived with their newborn son Max. And the happy trio looked so happy together as a family as they partook of the many attractions at the party.

Also in the house were Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, and their daughter Harlow Winter. Add in Victoria Beckham with son Cruz and you’ve got a paparazzo’s dream event.

All afternoon, the guests enjoyed the rented inflatable jump room, as well as some small farm animals at the petting zoo.”

This really does seem to be one very happy family and it’s nice to see that even in Hollywood, some stars still try to keep it somewhat real. It’s a nice to know that celebrities like to have play dates too, especially when they are a bunch of new moms generally speaking. Happy birthday, Kingston!

It’s easy to assume that in the world of Hollywood, it’s all about nannies and nurses when it comes to child care. But here is proof that not all celebrities leave their children in the hands of others. Well, at least not all the time. And although there are many horror stories of bad mothers (one in particular comes to mind) when it comes to famous parents, it’s nice to know that some celebs still value true parenting.

Although she is probably my least favourite star, I don’t know that a case can be made that she is a bad mother. Bad person, yes; but I still haven’t found any proof that parenting is not her thing. Here is Angelina Jolie out with her son Maddox, catching a movie.

From my least favourite to my most favourite, Jennifer Garner has also been seen recently, shopping with her daughter, Violet. I just think she is one of the best moms in Hollywood, if not on the planet, and Violet is just such a little doll.

And Kingston, son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale sure knows that his parents are numero uno as they all head to an intimate dinner for three, before the small party becomes larger with Gwen due just about any day now.

Another fave of mine is Kate Hudson. Apparently, when she was caught wearing the red bikini that was splashed all over everywhere, she wasn’t only trying to tell people that she wasn’t pregnant - she was also spending time with her son, Ryder. Hard to believe he’s four already!

And it’s nice to know that not only are the moms taking control of quality time, but dads are too! Here is a nice shot of Matthew Broderick out for a walk with his son James, and the family dog.

Gwen Stefani, famous punk rock sellout, and pop star sensation, is pregnant with her and her famous rock star husband, Gavin Rossdale’s second child. She’s already two months along; woah. Some of those lazy paparazzi bastards are seriously slacking off. From People:

“Gwen Stefani and her rock star husband Gavin Rossdale are expecting their second child, Rossdale’s father confirms to PEOPLE.

“They and the whole family are delighted,” Douglas Rossdale tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Reps for Stefani were not immediately available for comment.

According to Britain’s The Sun, the singer is 13 weeks pregnant. She has long said she’s wanted another child.

Stefani, 38, and British-born Rossdale, 40, wed in London in September 2002 and have one of the coolest kids in showbiz: Kingston Rossdale, who turns 2 on May 26.

Stefani has described Kingston as a “chilled-out little guy. He’s just like another person, except that he’s super-cute and super-entertaining.”

When it comes to his son, Rossdale recently said, “Finally, I got something right.”

Grandpa Rossdale sings Kingston’s praises too. “He is a great lad,” says the senior Rossdale. “And we are very much looking forward to another grandchild.”"

I think it’s great and all that Gwen and Gavin are having another baby, yay them. But I’ve said it before, and I’ll more than likely say it again: I miss the Tank Girl Gwen Stefani. Where did she go?
