Cameron Diaz is looking to sow her wild oats again after her rough break-up with Justin Timberlake and she has apparently chosen to do so with P. Diddy. The two have been getting cozy for several months but they have never shown such public affection as they did at a party Prince held this past Friday to promote his new book, “21 Days.” From Rush & Molloy,
“Sly Stallone, John Legend, Eddie Murphy, Babyface and other guests were riveted by the 2 1/2-hour backyard concert the funkster gave to launch his book, “21 Days.” But Diaz and Diddy seemed only to have eyes for each other.
During the show, they laughed and held hands. At one point, while Diddy sipped a Grey Goose, Cameron told him he “must” try her bread pudding, which she proceeded to spoon-feed him. After some whispering, Diddy nodded toward Prince’s mansion.
Once inside, he led Diaz by the hand through its labyrinthine corridors to Prince’s basement. That’s where we came upon the entranced twosome standing in the theater’s doorway. Diddy was bringing his lips toward hers when he realized someone was approaching. Smiling, they closed the theater’s door and locked it. We heard them giggling inside.
Diddy said he and Diaz did not go into a private room at the Sub-Mercer, adding, “It is ridiculous that two celebrities of the opposite sex can’t just hang out with a group of friends without it being reported as more than that. We are just friends.”
Diaz’s rep had no immediate comment.”
Diddy, it’s ridiculous when two stars are such a hot, new couple and won’t just spill the goods! This pair doesn’t actually surprise me too much. Diaz has always seemed like a little bit of a bad girl and she’s sure to have found what makes her tick in Diddy. Will it last? It’s hard to say with this one. They may be perfect for each other but on the other hand, they may need a partner that will be able to tame their wild side. Only time will tell.
Eddie Murphy and his blushing new “bride,” Tracey Edmonds, have called it quits. They were married just two weeks ago on the French Polynesian island, Bora Bora. No formal divorce will take place, since their marriage isn’t legal here in the states. Under U.S. law, wedding vows must take place on U.S. soil to be legally recognized.
“After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further,” their joint statement said.
“While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends,” it added.
Wow, some honeymoons last longer than their marriage. Perhaps Tracey caught him trying to father a kid with someone else? Maybe she didn’t like playing “Shrek and the donkey” in bed?
In other break up news, it’s now official. Tom Cruise has broken up with that pesky thing called reality. The Church of Scientology is trying to suppress a video of Tom Cruise rambling on and laughing like a hyena. It’s making the rounds on the internet, so here’s your chance to watch it. At least Tom is right about something: Scientology brings much happiness - as in laughing at listening to these people talk. I tried to follow Tom’s video but my head hurt too much to follow his mental gymnastics.
And how! As customary, the celebrity marriage is usually pretty expensive, but Eddie held very little back for his new wife, (new amongst all the old ones) Tracey Edmonds. The two got married on a private island, with all the extremely expensive bows and tassles attached. From People:

In a sunset ceremony on the beach Tuesday, Edmonds walked barefoot down the aisle to Gladys Knight’s “Makings of You.” The bride wore a custom-designed form-fitting dress by stylist and designer Sugia Nazel and Jill Baracci, designer and owner of Baracci boutique.
Murphy wore a cream suit and vest with an off-white handkerchief.
Among the guests were best man Johnny Gill, maid of honor Nicole Avant, matron of honor Julie Lev, as well as Edmonds’s parents Jacqueline and George McQuarn, her brother Michael, Murphy’s mother Lillian Lynch and his brother Vernon.
Edmonds, 40, gave her bridesmaids gold and diamond earrings from XIV Karats in Beverly Hills, and Murphy, 46, gave his groomsmen D’Atlantis watches.
The wedding was designed by event designer Colin Cowie, who created a gazebo on the beach made out of 6,000 shells for the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests celebrated at a private dinner and after-party, where DJ Darrin Ebron from Los Angeles kept the guests dancing.
The wedding cake was by Sam Godfrey of Perfect Endings in Napa, CA, and featured four layers in whites and cream with handmade sugar cymbidium and dendrobium orchids.
Edmonds and Murphy started dating last fall and were engaged in July.”
Wow. We had lasagna at my wedding reception; and it was held in my mother-in-law’s double wide, in East Texas. It’s memories like those, and stories like these that make us wish we married men with their own private islands, ladies!

The most interesting thing about the union in my opinion, is with Eddie’s six children, and Tracey’s two sons, there will be eight kids running around in their house total. Well, hopefully they’ll make out just fine, as long as they don’t let any suspicious looking plastic surgery victims babysit.
Eddie Murphy may have knocked up his girlfriend, Melanie B. (aka Scary Spice), but that hasn’t stopped him from dating other women.
