Lauren Conrad and Brody Jenner are dunzo. The two were together for like 2 seconds, but have made it a point to officially announce they are no longer dating.

Jenner attended the Thursday night launch party for the new furniture collection at Minotti in Los Angeles, where he revealed to a source, “We’re not together anymore.”

P.S. Dear LC, It’s Okay darling..shake it off! I heard that Kristin Cavalleri was cozying up to Wilmer Valderamma at the premiere of ‘Fast Food Nation’ last week….maybe you could try to hook up with him.

Apparently they got tired of having sex with each other..because a source close to the couple reveal that the split was a mutual decision. (Unlike last year’s split when Sienna dumped his a$$ for cheating on her with his children’s nanny.)�

A friend�reports, “They have definitely come to the end of the road. They tried to make it work but it failed.”�
A purported cause of the recent split could be�Jude’s�devotion to his�children and�consequently the time spent�with their mother,�his ex-wife, Sadie�Frost.�Although, a close pal of Law’s says, “He and Sadie have a very friendly relationship for the sake of the kids but they are not getting back together.”

Us Weekly has learned exclusively that after two months of dating Nicole Richie and Brody Jenner have called it quits.

Richie’s rep confirms the break-up exclusively to Us, saying: “Nicole and Brody are no longer dating but remain close friends.”

A source says that Richie initiated the breakup today at Jenner’s home in Malibu and that both Jenner, 23, and Richie, 25, agreed it was best to part ways.

“Nicole just wants to be single right now,” says the source. “She felt it was a mistake to jump into a relationship so soon after her breakup with AM.”

Richie and Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein split in May of this year after a nine-month engagement.

ET breaks the news that ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star ORLANDO BLOOM and on-again, off-again girlfriend of nearly four years, ‘Superman Returns” KATE BOSWORTH, have split.

Sources close to the former couple tell ET that Orlando and Kate have decided to go their separate ways.

The couple’s rep could not be reached for comment.

Orlando is currently on location in Southern California shooting ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End.’ He was last seen on the “Teen Choice Awards”‘ red carpet August 20, where he accepted the surfboard award for “Choice Hottie.”

Ashlee Simpson, 21, turned heads on September 2 at the NYC bar Don Hill’s, as she snuggled and kissed a cute guy in the hot spot’s VIP section.

One big problem: He wasn’t Simpson’s guitarist and boyfriend of nearly a year, Braxton Olita; it was Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, 27. Indeed, Simpson’s rep tells Us Weekly that Simpson and Braxton “broke up about a week ago. They have decided to take a break.”

A source close to Simpson tells Us, “Ashlee has been telling everyone that she’s over Braxton,”� and adds that Wentz recently dumped girlfriend Michelle Trachtenberg in order to be with Simpson.

For his part, dad Joe may be relieved: A source says when Simpson told him she wanted to move in with Olita earlier this year, “he thought it was totally wrong, immoral and a bad decision. It caused a major rift between her and Joe.”�

Ashlee had clearly moved on from her past love at Don Hills’ hipster dance party MisShapes that night where, according to Radar online, she proceeded to straddle the Fall Out Boy bassist, (Jessica was dateless).

However, when the party got going, the going got vomitous for the rowdier Simpson sister. At one point, Ashlee had to excuse herself to retch, and management kindly blocked off the bathroom for her.

Brittany Murphy and Joe Macaluso, engaged since last New Year’s Eve, have broken off their engagement, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

The two “have amicably ended their engagement. They remain close friends and wish each other much happiness,” a rep for Murphy tells PEOPLE.

Last Sunday, Murphy showed up at the Teen Choice Awards without her engagement ring. Asked about her wedding plans in the press room, the actress became evasive before saying, “Everything is going wonderful, thank you. I’m just living every moment, you know, enjoying my day.”

Murphy, 28, who had met Macaluso � who is a best boy grip � while filming Little Black Book. After that film wrapped production, she asked him to the movies for their first date.

The couple went on 17 dates before they shared their first kiss. They became engaged on Dec. 31, 2005.

“It felt right,” the actress told PEOPLE in January. “I love being in love.”

It was the second engagement for Murphy, who was previously set to marry manager Jeff Kwatinetz.

Murphy, who’s appeared in 2002’s 8 Mile with Eminem and this year’s The Groomsmen with Edward Burns, is currently filming Tinker Bell, an animated film in which she costars with Kristin Chenoweth.

Laguna Beach stars Lauren “L.C.” Conrad and Jason Wahler have split up, PEOPLE has confirmed.

“Its true. Lauren broke up with him last week,” Conrad’s rep, Nicole Perez, tells PEOPLE.

Being single isn’t slowing Conrad down a bit: The 20-year-old, who now appears on The Hills, took a trip to Las Vegas last weekend with her girlfriends, including Hills pal Heidi Montag.

Meanwhile, Wahler, 19, partied in Los Angeles over the weekend at Les Deux with Laguna pal Stephen Colletti. Wahler, wearing Adidas track pants and a t-shirt, got wild on the dance floor, according to a source.

“He was all over the place,” says the onlooker. “Every time I saw him, he was talking to a different girl.”

Wahler’s partying ways contributed to the couple’s breakup, a source tells PEOPLE.

This is not the first time Wahler and Conrad have split. The pair broke up last August, then reunited. “We’re pretty serious now,” Conrad told PEOPLE in May.

As for the future, Conrad plans to return to L.A.’s Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in the fall, and will film a second season of The Hills.

Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin has split from his longterm girlfriend Nicole Seidel after four years together.

Friends of actor and leading lawyer Seidel have blamed the pressure of Baldwin’s bitter and protracted custody battle with his ex-wife Kim Basinger for the break-up.

A pal tells Page Six, “The stress of the custody hearings took its toll. They’re still friends, and Alec thinks Nicole’s great.”

Actress Alexis Bledel�and her boyfriend, former co-star Milo Ventimiglia, have ended their relationship.

The couple were together for three and a half years before calling it quits. Ventimiglia’s representative tells People magazine, “He is currently single.”

The pair fell in love on the set of hit TV series Gilmore Girls. Ventimiglia, who turns 29 on Saturday, joined the show in 2001 as bad boy Jess, and became the boyfriend of his real-life partner’s character, Rory.

The actor will play Rocky Balboa Jr. in the upcoming�Rocky sequel.

After three years together, pop balladeer Josh Groban and actress January Jones (American Wedding) are “taking a break” from one another, his rep, Liz Rosenberg, tells PEOPLE.

Other than saying, “They remain friends,” Rosenberg had no further comment.

Jones’s rep, Dominique Appel, also had no comment.

Jones, 28, was spotted this past weekend with Lukas Haas and other pals at the Light nightclub anniversary party in Las Vegas. Jones and Haas star in the new movie Swedish Auto, opening at the Los Angeles Film Festival this week.

Singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette and her fianc� for the past two years, actor Ryan Reynolds, have split, a source close to the couple confirms to PEOPLE.

Morissette, 32, and Reynolds, 29, first met at Drew Barrymore’s birthday party in 2002 and dated for two years before becoming engaged in 2004.

In June 2005, Morissette told PEOPLE.com of her fianc�, “He’s just such a supportive creature. I feel so loved by him, in a trampoline kind of way. He’s always very happy for me.”

She credited the success of their relationship in part to the fact that they’re both Canadian. “We already started off with the shorthand, so I think it’s a really great base. I attempted dating many American men. I tried!”

No wedding date was ever announced. “We’re just really enjoying this (engagement) phase,” Morissette told PEOPLE.com last year. Said Reynolds, “We feel like we’re already married.”

The “sexiest man alive” is available again. Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz “have decided to split,” Cruz spokesman Robert Garlock told The Associated Press Friday. McConaughey’s rep, Alan Nierob, confirmed the breakup, first reported by People magazine.

The couple costarred in 2005’s “Sahara.”

McConaughey, People’s reigning hunk of hunks, appeared in this year’s “Failure to Launch.”

This fall, Cruz, 32, stars in Pedro Almodovar’s “Volver,” (”Return”), which just made a splash at the Cannes Film Festival.

Cruz and McConaughey, 36, parted ways four weeks ago due to busy work schedules, People reports.
