While Brooke and Charlie have decided to remain married for now, they also realize that the possibility of divorce is imminent and so, they’ve started getting everything ready. Reportedly this is because if divorce should take place, they want it to be done as quickly and as quietly as possible. And while that all sounds all well and good, I’m just not buying it. And if they honestly think that, I think they’re deluding themselves. Once you’ve started getting divorce papers ready, you’ve already made the decision. From TMZ,

“Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller have not only lawyered up for a possible divorce — they are getting all the paperwork ready in case the marriage goes down the toilet … sources tell TMZ.

Sources say Charlie and Brooke acknowledge divorce is a real possibility, but don’t want their business to come out in dribs and drabs in court filings. So lawyers advised them to negotiate the terms of a possible divorce now, get all the paperwork together and then see if the marriage has a chance. If it doesn’t, everything will get filed at once.

We’ve learned Brooke has hired family law attorney Lori Howe in the mega law firm of Trope and Trope. Charlie has hired attorney Mark Gross, a family law expert.”

And I’ll also just say that Brooke should have filed for divorce as soon as Charlie laid his hands on her. And since both of these two have some serious personal issues that they need to work out, I think they’re much better off just divorcing now and stopping the madness.

“Charlie Sheen will plead not guilty today in Aspen — weather permitting — to felony menacing and two misdemeanors, but the judge could ask a question that could land Charlie in jail.

Charlie is currently out on bail for the Christmas Day incident involving his wife, Brooke Mueller. One of the conditions of bail — Charlie can’t consume alcohol or use drugs.

Our sources say Charlie has fallen off the wagon since his arrest … which is why he’s currently in rehab. If the judge asks Charlie about rehab during Monday’s arraignment and whether alcohol and/or drugs drove him there, Charlie is in a no-win situation.

If he tells the judge he consumed alcohol or used drugs, his bail can be revoked and he could be thrown in jail. If he tells the judge he did not use alcohol or drugs, he could face a perjury charge.

Technically, all Charlie has to do is say two words — not guilty. The judge isn’t required to ask about anything. But if he does … all bets are off.

Charlie is scheduled to fly out this AM from L.A. to Aspen. Flights were canceled last night because of weather.”

That’s one of the reasons why I love following TMZ so much. Because Harvey Levin, the managing editor of TMZ, is actually a lawyer so we get to find out tidbits like what Charlie will be legally required to say, and what the judge could ask him. It’s always good to have a professional with their ear to the ground, that can combine the Hollywood and legal spin of the situation for us. And, according to Harvey, Charlie can be in a bucketload of trouble that he won’t be able to talk his way out of.

One reason for this is that Denise Richards aka. Notorious Liar, and Charlie’s ex-wife, is about to come forward for Charlie’s trial and testify that he threatened to have her killed and that he pushed and shoved her while she was holding their daughter. Before you get too sympathetic for Denise Richards, let me remind you that she has made no bones about the fact that she despises Charlie, despite recently saying on Oprah that she still loves him but isn’t “in love with him.” She also said on Oprah during that same interview that Charlie was never physically abusive, but that he was very emotionally abusive. That’s contradictory to what she’s preparing to say on the stand though. From Bump Shack,

“Richards claimed on December 30, 2005, in the middle of an argument, she was holding their daughter Lola, when Charlie “pushed me, shoving me with his two hands between my shoulders. I was forced backwards and tripped over one of the children’s toys and fell on the floor with Lola.”

According to the declaration, Charlie then pointed his finger at her and screamed, “I hope you f–king die, bitch.” Richards says as Charlie was walking out the front door he said “he was going to have me killed. He said you are f–king with the wrong guy.”

But words from scorned ex-lovers aren’t the only things stacking up against Charlie. There’s also now talk going around that there were drugs involved in Charlie and Brooke’s marriage. What?!! No!! Okay, the drug issue is no surprise to anyone, especially since Brooke is now attending rehab at home to kick crack. But, these drug sessions resulted in some pretty disgusting threesomes that were apparently something that Charlie and Brooke liked to do quite often when they were all cracked out. The problem with this, other than just being nauseating to think about, is that one of the women that the couple “shared their bed with” is willing to come forward about the drug use. And if drugs are introduced at your trial for beating women, it doesn’t spell good news. From Radar Online,

RadarOnline.com confirmed with a source who has direct knowledge of the situation that a woman who has slept with both Charlie and Brooke at the same time will be coming forward to reveal even more outrageous details of their relationship.

“Brooke is bisexual,” another insider told RadarOnline.com. “She and Charlie have had more than one woman share their bed in the short time they’ve been married.”

Brooke is being treated for crack addiction and alcoholism. Charlie had been using cocaine and also started boozing again.

“Some of the women they slept with together also did drugs with them,” the insider told RadarOnline.com.

The first source would not reveal if the woman who is about to go public saw Sheen and Mueller do drugs. And the source would not say when or how the woman will tell her story but RadarOnline.com learned that it will happen within the next two weeks.

Sheen, who is facing prison if convicted on a felony and two misdemeanor charges in Colorado, will be under even more heat if the Colorado district attorney is able to introduce illegal drug use into the actor’s trial.”

And among all of this, Brooke is saying that she’ll stay with Charlie if he can clean himself up and stay sober. Now, isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black? Apparently, she feels as though she won’t be able to stay clean if he can’t either and wants to work on their marriage but feels this is the only way to do it. Well, duh! From Digital Spy,

“Brooke Mueller has reportedly said that she will only stay married to Charlie Sheen if he keeps sober.

According to TMZ, Mueller feels that the only way she can remain abstinent is if the Two and a Half Men star stays clean himself.

She is currently attending rehab at home after leaving a California facility under controversial circumstances.

Sources close to Sheen have allegedly said that it is Mueller who is a bad influence on the actor and not the other way around.

“It’s Brooke’s craziness that is fuelling all of this,” explained one insider.”

Aren’t Brooke and Charlie exhausting? I’m tired just listening to them. Just like I was when it was Charlie and Denise Richards that were married! Oi. What it all boils down to is that Charlie Sheen really could be looking at doing some serious time. I know celebrities always manage to find a way out of it (read – money!) but this one is going to be hard to get out of. And it’s not like any of these are his first charges either.

And if he does get off, my prediction is that he and Brooke have about six more months of cracked out threesomes before eventually splitting up.

But  now months later, more of these same problems of Brooke’s have come creeping up and this time, it’s landed her in rehab. And this actually isn’t the first time Brooke has had to go dry up. It’s not even the first time in the past few months. From Celebrity Dirty Laundry,

“Mother-of-two Brooke Mueller – who has 11-month-old twin sons Max and Bob with husband Charlie Sheen – was reportedly admitted to The Canyon rehabilitation centre last Tuesday (09.02.10) for substance abuse after an “out of control” night of partying with her husband. A source told gossip website Radar Online: “Brooke has been in denial about her problem for a long time. “She’s smoking crack and she’s drinking heavily. Everyone around her wanted her to get help. Her mother has been attempting to convince her to go into rehab for a while now.”

Brooke’s return to rehab came just one day after Charlie’s arraignment hearing on felony and misdemeanor charges relating to his alleged assault on her on Christmas Day (25.12.09). However, shortly after the Aspen court visit – which saw terms of a restraining order against Charlie relaxed – the pair apparently partied together in Los Angeles before Brooke was urged to seek help for her problems.

Another source added: “She went on an all-nighter. She was just out of control. They partied that night. She didn’t stop. “It was just more of the same with Brooke. Her mother had been begging her to go into rehab. “It got to the point where even Charlie told her to go to rehab because of their kids. She had one final party, drinking pretty heavily, and Charlie was with her part of the time. But when he left it didn’t stop. The next day she was in bad, bad shape and that’s when she went into rehab.”

This is the second time Brooke has visited a rehabilitation centre in recent weeks. Last month she stayed at the Two Dreams Outer Banks treatment centre in North Carolina over alleged substance abuse problems, following a stay in hospital for pneumonia.”

Yep, I’ll say it again. I do not want Brooke Mueller’s life. Ever. And crack cocaine, that’s nice. She’s a really good mom.

Yesterday Charlie met with a judge in court in order to get the restraining order lifted. That was allowed, and so now Charlie and Brooke Mueller are back on their way home. Apparently, Brooke wanted the restraining order lifted earlier so that she could speak to Charlie about issues with their kids. Uummm…I don’t know that I would need an order lifted for that actually. I think I’d just do whatever I thought was best, and the guy who smacked me could go to hell if he didn’t like it. I just don’t understand these women who take their man back after they’ve been beaten by them. I know, it’s very common and they usually do, it takes a lot to leave, blah blah blah. I know. Still, it makes me crazy. From Celebrity Dirty Laundry,

“The ‘Two and a Half Men’ star is reportedly determined to sort out his problems and get his relationship with Brooke Mueller – who he is accused of assaulting on Christmas Day (25.12.09) – back on track after a judge modified a restraining order against him yesterday (08.02.10) so the couple can live together again. A source told the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper: “Charlie and Brooke already are going through intense marriage counselling and Charlie has been very religious about attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and serious anger management counselling. “He’s telling everyone that he is going to do everything he can to make it work – and last.”

The restraining order which was put in place after the actor was charged with felony menacing and misdemeanour charges of third-degree assault and criminal mischief, has now been lifted on the condition the 44-year-old star does not drink alcohol, is in possession of guns or harasses his wife. Brooke’s attorney, Yale Galanter, said the couple – who have ten-month-old twin sons Bob and Max – had hugged and kissed in Pitkin County Courthouse after yesterday’s hearing before leaving separately, but planned to return to their Los Angeles home together.

He said: “I can tell you, Brooke very badly wanted to have contact with Charlie. There are many children’s issues she wanted to communicate with him about. “Brooke’s desire was to get the order modified so they could have contact and communicate because of their children. Judge Boyd was gracious enough to grant that and now Charlie and Brooke are on their way back to Los Angeles to continue their lives.”

There’s really not a lot more to say is there? Denise Richards recently told Oprah that Charlie was also abusive to her when they were married. And although she did say that Charlie never hit her, he was still abusive. So he’s stepped it up a notch with Brooke and most likely, will do it again. Because we all know that nothing’s going to come out of this hearing in March.

“A much happier Charlie Sheen visited Brooke Mueller today in the hospital — and this time he was allowed to talk to his wife. Late yesterday, the judge in Charlie’s Aspen case relaxed the protective order and allowed Charlie to have contact with Brooke while she’s laid up in the hospital.”

The thing about Charlie Sheen is that I really want to like him. But I just can’t. I actually saw it on TMZ the first day he went to visit Brooke in the hospital and he did look very concerned and told the cameras that he was ‘just there to lend his love and support. Everything’s fine.’ And just the way he said it, it’s like he oozed charisma. But I too realize that saying it and actually meaning it are two very different things. And people may say that Sheen has changed his bad boy ways. And I’d agree with them. He’s taken the life of partying and drugs and stepped it up a notch to include beating his wife. Yes, he’s changed alright. Just not for the better.

“Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller’s marriage was in shambles in the weeks leading up to their Christmas day scuffle. Brooke even moved out of their L.A. home for five days in late November and stayed at the nearby Beverly Wilshire hotel before renting a place in Aspen, Star reports in our new issue — on newsstands Wednesday.

Still, Charlie flew to Aspen to spend the holidays with Brooke and their 9-month-old sons, Max and Bob. But things went terribly wrong when the Two and a Half Men star found himself in an Aspen, Colo., jail cell charged with felony domestic abuse charges after he reportedly choked Brooke after a night of drinking.

On Monday, the 911 call from Brooke was released and on it she tells the dispatcher Charlie threatened her with a knife. According to a report from RadarOnline.com, things came to a head when Brooke told Charlie she wanted a divorce.

Charlie was arrested on suspicion of second degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief in connection with a domestic violence incident. He posted $8,500 bail and has been ordered to appear in court in February, 2010.”

The online version of the story in Star didn’t even quote an anonymous source of any sort so, I am skeptical as to the truth of this story. I do have an inkling to believe the bit that comes from Radar Online but that is an actual source that is generally somewhat reliable. But even that bit of news is events that happened on that actual day, and not the weeks leading up to it. Still, even if there are no sources, the shoe does fit for this story, doesn’t it? They’re unhappy, Brooke threatens divorce and takes off with the kids. And he’s Charlie Sheen so he takes the most dramatic approach possible. Yep, this bit is probably true after all.

“Charlie Sheen allegedly held his wife Brooke Mueller at knifepoint and threatened to have her killed if she told anyone, according to a police affidavit released Monday.

After Mueller, 32, phoned 911 in a panic that Sheen had threatened her with a “knife,” officers went to a home in Aspen.

Officer Rick Magnuson says that when he arrived, he did not notice “any obvious injuries” on Mueller, 32, who was in the kitchen while Sheen, 44, waited upstairs.

When Magnuson took Sheen to the basement to talk, Sheen admitted that he and his wife — who wed in May 2008 and welcomed twin boys this year — had been having marital problems lately and that she “abuses alcohol,” according to the affidavit.

He said that Mueller began arguing with him at 3:30 a.m. after he “shared a song for his daughter whom he fathered with another woman.” The song made Mueller jealous, he said, and the argument escalated when she threatened to divorce him and take the children, the affidavit states.

According to the affidavit, Sheen told Magnuson that he and Mueller were yelling at each other and they had each slapped the other on the arm during the argument. He denied pushing or striking her, but he did admit that at one point, he took her eyeglasses and broke them in front of her.

Contrary to Mueller’s 911 claims, he denied threatening her with a knife. (According to the affidavit, Sheen acknowledged having a folding knife in his travel bag, which was outside the bedroom. Sheen showed the officer the dark colored, locking knife with a 4-inch blade. It was locked in the open position.)

According to the affidavit, another officer interviewed Mueller, who said she and Sheen were arguing in the bedroom. When she said she wanted a divorce, Mueller said Sheen grabbed her by the upper part of her throat while straddling her on the bed, according to the affidavit. He held a medium-sized, folding knife, blade exposed, to her throat, the affidavit states. She told the officer that Sheen said, “You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I’ll kill you.’”

Mueller said Sheen also told her, “Your mother’s money means nothing. I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won’t leave any trace,” according to the affidavit, which also stated that an officer later noticed Mueller had “red marks on the upper part of the front of her neck.”

Mueller told the officer that she managed to get Sheen off her by telling him, “You’re right. You’re right. You’re right. I’m sorry. I love you.”

Sheen was later booked for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief.

After spending most of his Christmas Day behind bars, he was released on $8,500 bond late Friday. (After his arrest, a rep for the actor told UsMagazine.com, “Do not be misled by appearance. Appearance and reality can be as different as night and day. It would benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion.”)

Prosecutors say they probably won’t decide until Sheen’s next court appearance Feb. 8 whether to file charges against the actor.

In December 1996, Sheen was arrested for attacking ex-girlfriend Brittany Ashfield at his home in Southern California. He pleaded guilty in 1997 and was placed on two years’ probation.”

Now that’s interesting. In amongst Charlie Sheen’s dark past, I didn’t realize that he had proven himself to be a woman beater before. It’s no wonder I’ve never liked the guy! So who comes out better in this story? Charlie Sheen is a homicidal maniac that likes to threaten his wife with a knife while pinning her down on the bed, and Brooke drinks too much. Hell, if I were married to Charlie Sheen, I’d drink heavily too!

“Mary J. Blige is in the Christmas spirit and spreading her unique brand of cheer. It’s not a brand you’re going to want to experience for yourself, but she’s full of the spirit alright. The NY Post is reporting that Blige smacked her husband Kendu Isaacs in the face at her record release party at club M2 Tuesday night.

The two were probably not fighting, that’s just how some people say hello. One smack for hello, two for goodbye etc. etc. The singer is reported to have hit her love so hard in the face after suspecting him of flirting that she drew blood.”

This report actually came out on Christmas Eve so it seems that Blige was actually the first to start the new Christmas tradition. Can I just ask – seriously?!? What is up with all the domestic abuse with the celebrities lately? It started this year with Chris Brown and Rihanna and is ending with celebrities that you would never think of. Sheen, granted he’s surrounded by drama 24/7 but, a wife beater? I never took him for it. And Mary J. Blige? “Violent” was never really a word I would have associated her with before. Hopefully this isn’t a hot new trend and celebrities will be quick to smarten up and realize they can’t treat people like that. No matter who they are.

“Actor Charlie Sheen, Denise Richard’s ex-husband, was arrested for an alleged domestic violence incident involving his wife, Brooke Mueller, in Aspen, Collorado, on Christmas day (December 25). Brooke, who later registered a 0.13 in blood alcohol tests, called 911 at 9:34 am.

When the cops arrived they arrested Charlie for felony second degree assault, felony menacing and criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, which is all related to a “domestic violence component”. Charlie’s rep said, “Do not be mislead by appearance. Appearance and reality can be as different as night and day. It would benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion.”

Charlie apparently told the authorities Brooke was the aggressor and that he was just trying to defend himself the best her could. Charlie was presented to a judge and has been released from the Pitkin County Jail on $8,500 bond. He will return to court on February 8, 2010.”

So I guess the whole thing is going to be blown over until the new year. And it seems that nothing will probably happen at that time either. I think this because Brooke, who was angry enough to press charges at the time and be okay with seeing her babies’ daddy taken away in cuffs, has now changed her story, a la Elin Nordegren, and is now refusing to talk to the authorities. “Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller, has told cops she’s done talking with them about the incident yesterday that landed Charlie in jail.

Sources say police contacted Mueller for a follow-up interview but she doesn’t want to cooperate any further. As we first reported, Brooke has changed the story she told when she called 911.

TMZ has spoken with the man who will decide if Charlie Sheen will be prosecuted. Arnold Mordkin, a Chief Deputy D.A. who runs the Aspen office, tells TMZ he has not seen the police reports yet, but, “Generally speaking, our office files charges when police make an arrest.”

Mordkin says his plan is to file charges on February 8, 2010 — Sheen’s next court appearance.

Mordkin also says, although he has not received firsthand information about Mueller’s follow-up contact with police, “It is not uncommon where a victim in the throes of an event says some things and thereafter the story seems to change.”

Mordkin did, however, warn, “I often file [criminal charges] against someone who falsely accuses someone.”

It sounds like this one’s going to get ugly either way. Even if Mueller doesn’t push the issue, it sounds like the D.A. is prepared to at this point. I just don’t understand why Charlie Sheen is such a schmuck and always feels the need to screw up his own life somehow. And it seems that he’s found yet another wife that’s just as messed up as he is and can’t seem to get her head screwed on just right.

“Believe it or not, we had dinner together with all of us,” Richards — who has two daughters, Sam, 5, and Lola, 3, with her ex — tells E!’s Daily 10. “So I love that… It’s important for our daughters to see us get along and to be able to be in the same room.”

She adds: “I think anytime you go through a divorce it’s such a huge change in your life, and obviously my divorce was very public and it got very nasty… Charlie and I didn’t want that — we didn’t want all the conflict and this and that, and that’s just was the situation was.”

Their dinner even included 43-year-old Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller, who gave birth to twin boys in March.

“Brooke and I have always gotten along, so obviously when we went through what we were all going through it was what it was. But I think she’s great with my girls. They love her.”

She adds that she and Sheen — who divorced in November 2006 after five years of marriage — have managed to put their troubles behind them.

“I don’t have a choice but to get past it,” she says. “You know, I don’t read a lot of that stuff obviously — I’m not stupid. I know what’s said in most of it, but it’s just moving forward in my life and at that time when it was really bad in my life, I didn’t think about that stuff. I had to think about, ‘I’m a Mom, I have two daughters that depend on me.’ So I put all that stuff aside and I kind of just live in a little bubble.”

Richards, 38, continues: “I like things very calm and happy.”

This is truly incredible. Do I dare say that Richards has grown and matured? She certainly sounds like it. I’m not excusing a lot of what she did but I do understand that when you’re in the thick of heartache, you can’t always see the bigger picture. It sounds as though she has finally come out of it and although I think that Denise Richards always has and always will live in a little bubble that has nothing to do with reality, I’m glad to see that she has finally decided to grow up a little bit and realize the damage she was doing to her daughters. And from the sounds of it, Charlie has realized all of the same things. Sam and Lola might just have a chance after all!

“Good news for Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller!

There infant son Max has been released from the hospital and is finally home with his twin brother, Bob.

“Premature babies are often underweight. Max made weight and went home,” Charlie’s rep, Stan Rosenfield said. “It’s frustrating to be a parent and not have your family home with you. This is the last week of Two and a Half Men [which is going on hiatus], so Charlie and Brooke will be able to spend some quality time with their kids.”

It’s so nice too that Charlie doesn’t have to work for a little while so the family can spend some time hanging out and getting to know each other. I’m not a big fan of either of these parents but I am always a big fan of healthy babies with loving parents, which these two undeniably are.

“One of Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller’s twin boys has not been able to leave the hospital.

Max Sheen is still hanging in the hospital nursery, despite the fact that his brother Bob has already set up shop at home.

“Charlie and Brooke’s infant son Max remains in the hospital, not because of a heart condition as reported, but because he has not gained the weight necessary to leave the hospital,” Charlie’s publicist, Stan Rosenfield, said in a statement. “Max is expected to reach the weight requirement shortly and will join his brother at home.”

Even though it must suck to not have both kids home together, Charlie is managing to keep his sense of humor in tact.

“The weight issue is very common among infants who were born before reaching full term,” the actor said. “I know a lot of people are not fond of hospital food; I just didn’t realize that they started so young.”

“The Sheens appreciate the outpouring of concern,” his rep said, “but have assured everyone that both Bob and Max are fine.”

Well thank God it’s not a heart condition! Hopefully little Max will start packin on the pounds and will be able to make a speedy trip to where all newborns belong – at home with their family.

I have two issues with this. The first being that, is Charlie Sheen really so stupid that he can’t tell two kids, who look different, apart? I would totally be able to understand this with identical twins but fraternal?? Come on, Charlie, let’s be a little quicker on the uptake, shall we? I am also a huge fan of celebrities, or anyone really, who gives their new baby (or babies) nice, normal names that don’t leave people wondering, “What the hell were they thinking?” While Bob and Max are both pretty normal names, BOB is NOT a good name for a BABY!! It’s not even Robert! Nope, just Bob. Stupid people.

“Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller, was hospitalized Tuesday, his rep, Stan Rosenfield, confirms to Usmagazine.com.

“Brooke Mueller Sheen was taken to a Los Angeles area hospital Tuesday
morning after experiencing premature contractions, which is not uncommon at this stage of a pregnancy carrying twins,” Rosenfield tells Us.

Continues the rep: “She is expected to be released from the hospital today.”

Mueller, 31, and Sheen. 43, wed in a small ceremony in Beverly Hills last May. It’s the third marriage for the Two and a Half Men star, and the first for Mueller, a real estate agent and former actress.”

Charlie and Brooke are having twin boys, due to some medical procedure called, “I am God and I will have what kind of baby I want by ordering it.” As bitter as I am about the fact that they chose to have twin boys, I really do hope that the little ones and Brooke are doing okay. No one ever likes to see anything go wrong in pregnancy. My bet is that she’s now been put onto bed rest, if she wasn’t before, something else very common when a woman is carrying twins. I guess this means that Charlie will have to stop his impromptu flights to Vegas to party with the boys as he’ll need to stay home and tend to wifey. Oh wait, it’s Charlie Sheen. He’s probably buying his ticket to Sin City as we speak.

After protective dad Charlie threatened exec producer RYAN SEACREST and E! TV with everything from baseball bats to legal action, they finally caved to his insistence that the girls shouldn’t be on-camera and on-set endlessly.

Ryan finally bowed to Charles-In-Charge, and now the show will focus on Denise as a dating single mom.

Ryan promises a hipper story line focusing on Denise’s bosom…er, bosom buddies and her, shopping, bopping and gallivanting to Vegas on girls-gone-wild forays.”

I’m quite proud of the fact that I’ve never watched an episode of this god-awful show with this god-awful wannabe covering the screen but I am confused. What was the show about the first season? Because this sort of makes it sound as though during the first season Richards was an adoring and doting mother and now she’s going to be portrayed as a boozehead party girl.

Brooke Mueller, Charlie’s new wifey and the Two and a Half Men star have just recently come out announcing that not only are they expecting but it’s to be twins, and with the help of a few scientific advancements they will most likely be boys. So what better time is there than to fly to Las Vegas for a good old-fashioned weekend hangin with the boys and getting lapdances?! Yep, Charlie Sheen sickens me and this is why. “Star magazine is reporting that bad boy & reformed playboy Charlie Sheen fled to Las Vegas on Oct. 25 to blow off steam — leaving his wife who is preggers at home. Apparently, he certainly wasn’t looking like a married man with twin sons on the way as he surrounded himself with pretty young women, partied with Spin City costar Michael Boatman at Privé and got lap dances at the strip club Spearmint Rhino. I guess a leopard does not change his spots! “He’s still carrying on and boozing,” a source tells Star.

His weekend away from Brooke did more harm than good for his marriage. When she got wind of what Charlie was up to in Las Vegas, “she went off the deep end,” and told Charlie to either Shape Up or GET OUT!”

Now, I’m fairly liberal in my thinking when it comes to married men and strip clubs. I don’t think that they are forbidden places and by simply thinking of entering one, a man has already cheated on his wife. I do however, don’t feel that it is necessary for a married man to be getting lapdances at strip clubs and I don’t think it’s necessary to go to a strip club at all when you’re wife is at home growing babies. The nine months of pregnancy are a special form of punishment for a woman and the husband needs to be by her side taking care of her whenever he possibly can. And good Lord, what was he thinking pissing off a pregnant woman?!? Not smart, Charlie. Not smart at all.

“Brooke and Charlie are expecting twins, and they are so excited,” Moira Fiore, who spent time with Brooke last week, tells PEOPLE. “Obviously, I am floating on air.”

Fiore says that the couple “think the twins are boys” but aren’t sure.

“Brooke has had all day morning sickness but is coming to the end of the first trimester so she hopefully will feel better soon,” says Fiore of her 31-year-old daughter. “It has been rough for her.”

Still, “Brooke looks so beautiful,” adds her mom. “She is just glowing.”

Sheen, 42, who is already a father to three girls, has expressed interest in having a son. In August, Brooke told PEOPLE she thought they would have a boy. “Odds are it’s a boy, but we’ll be happy with either sex,” she said at the time.”

I just don’t like it when people go to these extreme measures to make sure that they get the ‘right’ baby, or babies, in this case. And then Brooke says that she’ll be happy ‘with either sex.’ Obviously not, since you had to involve advanced technology in your conception. For absolutely no reason! I think medical advances are great and have given many women who were once without options, open doors that weren’t once available to them. But it’s not like it was these babies or no babies, it was ‘these babies, and they need to be boys.’ It’s just so wrong! Do celebrities really not have enough that they feel as though they need to take fate into their own hands as well?

“Brooke and I are thrilled! She’s the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for,” Sheen, 42, says, referring to his daughters Sam, 4, and Lola, 2 (with ex-wife Denise Richards), and Cassandra, 23 (with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt)

The “Major League” actor adds: “Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she’ll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100%, perhaps a boy awaits us.”

These two did get pregnant very quickly, as they were just married this past May. And although they were confronted with pregnancy rumors back in June, they assured everyone that there was no bun in the oven. They even said that there were no plans for one so obviously, this comes as a surprise to everyone. Congratulations, Charlie and Brooke, you’re about to be inducted into the baby bump hall of fame!

Perhaps the only divorce that may be as ugly as the one between Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen is the one between Hulk Hogan and wife, Linda Boella. Hogan himself was surprised in November when she filed for divorce and from there it turned into the makings of a bad accident that you have to watch. Quite literally as well since the family started to fall apart shortly after Nick’s accident. Now Hulk Hogan has gone public saying that he wished he was still with his wife, even though she has been sleeping with a much younger man. This is one messed up family and I lost the little respect I had for Hogan after remarks he made in regards to Nick’s accident.

And one divorcee who has absolutely no desire to be reunited with her ex is Pink. In her latest video she gladly erases all memories of her former marriage by chainsawing through a heart carved onto a tree with the name of her and ex, Carey Hart. It’s subtle as the tree uses her first name but for all her fans it’s there and there’s also the posting she’s put on her blog where she goes into a bit more detail over who, shortly after her divorce, she called her “best friend.”

And three women who have seen their fare share of heartache are the Dixie Chicks. The recent divorce of singer Emily Robison isn’t the first divorce that the Chicks have seen during their time together of over ten years but it’s just as heartbreaking. I suppose the good news is that there’s bound to be more great Chick material coming out of it!

And just on the heels of his car accident on Sunday night, Morgan Freeman has also announced that he is in the middle of divorce proceedings. The actor has been separated from his wife since 2007 but are now moving proceedings along. Man, what a past few months it’s been for him! On news of his health, he appears to be doing much better!

Kate Hudson is one divorcee who knows that she will be forever tied to her ex, Chris Robinson due to the fact that they share their four-year old son, Ryder. There were reports earlier this week that she was caught kissing him directly after her relationship with Lance Armstrong but nothing has seemed to come from that. As a side note, I think normally she’s stunning but her on the cover of W just looks weird. Sort of superhero/comic-booky. It’s not right though.
