There’s little doubt that Jamie Lynn Spears has had a lot going on lately and it seems that the stress may be getting to her. First she gets pregnant by Casey Aldridge. Then, at a time when she needs support the most, her sister Britney starts freaking right out due to a mental condition and her parents fly off to L.A. to be with big sis instead. Then, seeking out whatever support she can, she goes to a medical center to get help and is turned away. All seemed to be going okay when it came out that she and Aldridge had plans to get married but now, even that has been turned upside-down. From Gossip Girls,

“Jamie Lynn and Casey have been fighting non-stop about everything, from what to name the baby to what to eat for dinner. And now she’s called off their wedding plans.”

Another insider claims that Jamie Lynn’s father Jamie has put his overseeing of Britney on hold to be with her. “Jamie Lynn, Jamie and her mom are all staying at Serenity [the Spears family estate in Kentwood, Louisiana] right now. They’ve been busy decorating the baby nursery.”

Well it seems that now that Britney has gotten her life back on track, her parents can finally find time for the daughter they seem to have forgotten. I can only hope that things work out for Jamie Lynn. I do feel for her. Teen pregnancy happens and although unfortunate, the teen does need an outpouring of love like she has never seen before and she just hasn’t been getting it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jamie Lynn and Casey didn’t last. Again, it wouldn’t be ideal but they’re teenagers! How many of us can say that we’re still with our teenage sweetheart?

It’s true, mention the word “celebrity” and automatically people think of someone that is rich, famous, spoiled and more often than not, stupid. These may be generalizations but there are lots of celebrities out there that prove this to be very true. Here are the top stories of stupid celebrities this week.

Jamie Lynn Spears attended a teen party this week with her fiance Casey Aldridge when he got into a physical fight with some of the other boys after they had had a few too many drinks. Spears, trying to break the fight up, got caught in the middle and was injured in her mouth when it was met with an elbow. I don’t begrudge her for trying to break up a fight but should a pregnant mom-to-be attend such a party? It’s different if you’re an adult but she’s 17 for heaven’s sakes! Those kinds of things generally tend to happen at those parties, which makes this just plain stupid.

And speaking of young celebs acting their age, Ashton Kutcher has come out saying that he doesn’t watch his wife’s Demi Moore’s sex scenes in movies claiming that he doesn’t want to believe that she’s into someone else. Is he not an actor himself? Does he not know that that’s her work? Oh right, he’s like 12. And stupid.

And speaking of immature, Gerard Butler has had some disgusting analogies when he denies dating Cameron Diaz. Read the story for full details but let’s suffice it to say that it involves him doing rude things with a dog.
Heather Mills has been trying hard to get herself into the papers lately with her recent divorce settlement from Paul McCartney. She’s not speaking out about him but she does make comments about how she’s happy he has other girlfriends now and that she’s happy to not be with him. I think that feeling’s mutual Heather. Not only are these comments stupid but her desperate attempt to stay in the limelight is pathetic.

Rob Lowe’s chef has been fired for among other things, having sex in his boss’ bed. When you’re working for a huge actor and getting paid major bucks, would you really want to risk it with something like this? And how gross is that?!? Stupid!

Of course it’s old news by now that Jamie Lynn Spears is expecting a baby with Casey Aldridge but they have found their way back to the magazine covers and gossip columns with the ring that Jamie Lynn is wearing on her left ring finger. She seems to be very excited about it and is flashing the bling to all of her family and friends. From Celebitchy,

“Mom-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears is sporting some sparkling new jewelry – an engagement ring from fiancé Casey Aldridge.

Spears, 16, has been flashing the rock to friends and family around Louisiana and Mississippi, a source close to the family tells PEOPLE.

“She’s got an engagement ring,” the source says. “She’s been showing it off, talking about it.”

Spears and her 18-year-old fiancé are expecting the baby this summer. No official word yet on a wedding date for the couple.”

I’m sure that Lynne Spears is absolutely mortified that her youngest daughter has gotten engaged since she was pretty clear in her interviews that this baby did not mean wedding bells in the near future. I’m also just as sure that Jamie Lynn doesn’t care much what her parents think in this case as she has been pretty bitter that they are putting all of their energy into getting her sister, Britney Spears back to normal.

Is this a good idea? I think no. I’m just not a big fan of teenagers getting married. Let’s hope that Jamie Lynn has learned what not to do from her sister and she might stand a chance of making a go of it.

There are reports from many sources both out there in the big world, and over the Internet, that Casey Aldridge is not the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’s baby. Not only that, but the actual paternity is suspected to be from a much older man, –which means that since Jamie Lynn is only 16 years old, –someone’s ass is going to jail. From ShowBizSpy:

“The father of Jamie Lynn Spears baby is NOT boyfriend Casey Aldridge, according to shocking reports from the U.S.

News that Britney’s sister was pregnant at 16 - under the legal age for sex in the U.S. - forced 18-year-old Casey into hiding.

But now Star magazine insists that the teenager may not be the dad - and that Spears’ friends and family think it is an older man who would face statutory rape charges.

Friends have said that Jamie Lynn was no longer even seeing Casey - and family members told Star that they believe the real father is a much older executive at her children’s TV show ‘Zoey 101′.

“Casey is being paid off to be the family’s fall guy while the real father remains unidentified,” Star magazine insists.

They say the real reason is that an older man could be charged with statutory rape if revealed to be the father of an under-aged girl’s baby.

But in Jamie Lynn’s home state of Louisiana, Casey would escape charges because a 16-year-old can legally have sex with someone less than two years older than her. “Conveniently, Casey falls under the bar by just 26 days.

“The man many suspect is the father, however, would face charges and probably prison time if he were to come forward and admit he had sex with her,” Star magazine states.

The magazine quotes “two separate Spears family insiders” who believe the father is someone who works on Jamie Lynn’s kids’ show. “Jamie Lynn has been working on Zoey since she was 13,” one of the sources said. “In Hollywood, little girls grow up fast, and she is no exception.

“With everything that has gone on in her family, she needed someone to look up to.

“But the man she found seems to have completely taken advantage of her.”

Another family source added: “Some of us have doubts as to the legitimacy of the claim that Casey is the father.

“Before the news of the pregnancy, how often did you see them together?

“Jamie Lynn has dated Casey on and off over the past two years.

“But it was not steady. In fact, she was looking to date Kevin Federline’s brother about a year ago.

“Jamie Lynn went through a time of partying, and Casey was just a part of that.”

Even Casey recently posted on his own MySpace that he was feeling “blah” about his love life, and added: “Me and Jamie are over…”

In fact, Star claims he had a pregnancy scare with a different girl and had to confess to Jamie Lynn. “Casey is a serial cheater who has lied to Jamie Lynn time and time again,” a close friend told the magazine. “This past spring, he was forced to tell Jamie Lynn that he’d cheated on her and gotten that girl pregnant.”

In fact, Star even insists Casey was openly dating yet another girl at the same time as he was supposed to be romancing Spears. “Yes, my sister is dating Casey - they’ve been dating for a while,” said Kevin Seals of his sister Whitney Seals.

“I know Jamie Lynn was real jealous about Whitney’s relationship with Casey.”

No matter who the father is, insiders believe the pregnancy will be the death knoll for Jamie Lynn’s burgeoning career. It will leave them terrified that she will prove to be the new Britney - and also that Nickelodeon, the TV channel behind Zoey 101, will be terrified of ruining its clean-cut image.

“I cant think of any way that Nickelodean could keep Jamie Lynn’s show on the air, said PR expert Michael Levine.

“If they do, advertisers will drop it like crazy. No advertiser wants to be associated with a minor getting pregnant.””

The show’s rating would drop like a lead weight, but I’m pretty sure most parents will support any decision made by Nickelodeon to get rid of Zoey 101. Teens aren’t the same any more, especially not in America. In all honesty, not just celebrities, but parents of all kids need to really step up to the plate here. Kids all over the world now know, that a girl they were supposed to look up to is pregnant. What kind of example is that setting? Something seriously needs fixing.

In July, we reported on Jamie Lynn Spears being pregnant, as per quoted within the National Enquirer, and it was blown into a wild, “Nuh uh!” ordeal throughout the media. Before I go any further, the first thing I wanna say to all of my non-believers is “HAHA! Told you so!” and the second question I’m raising is, –is she really only five weeks pregnant? The National Enquirer picked up on this in July, so is it just a coincidence that suddenly she’s confirming pregnancy? Hmmm. From Hollywood Heartbreaker in July:

“A new, and disturbing headline from National Enquirer: Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney Spears‘ sixteen year old little sister, is pregnant. Her and her nineteen year old boyfriend, Casey Aldridge have been sexually active, and were spied apartment hunting in Valencia, California. Of all the useless parents out there, Lynne Spears has to be among the worst. Obviously, just look at Britney. I can’t help but wonder what Lynne Spears‘ parental philosophies are.

Her sixteen-year-old daughter is rumoured to be pregnant, and wants to move out with a nineteen-year-old. That should be a red flag for any mother. The whole family needs serious therapy. Supposedly Lynne Spears ordered Britney to stay away from Jamie Lynn, in June of 2007, after Britney tried to take her underage sister out with her, but I’m thinking it was too little, way too late.”

The irony in this, is that since I was seriously wondering what Lynne Spears‘ parental philosophies are, now I can’t find out. Why, you may ask? Well, the paradox, folks, is that this utter antithesis of a good parent, –opinion based on obvious evidence, Lynne Spears, wrote a book about parenting. However, the book has been put on hold, according to People, because her underage daughter, Jamie Lynn Spears is knocked up. Yeah, I can see why that might not be a bestseller, unless, as I would, people bought it simply for the hilarity factor. From People:

“Lynne Spears’s book about raising her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn has been put on hold, the publisher confirms to PEOPLE.

“The book is delayed indefinitely. It’s delayed, not cancelled,” says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles.

It had been scheduled for a spring 2008 release and was put on hold last week, says the rep. On Tuesday, news hit that 16-year-old Jamie Lynn is pregnant with her boyfriend’s child.

Publishers’ Weekly described the book as “Lynne Spears’s personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community.”

The publisher declined to comment on whether the focus of the book would change in light of the pregnancy announcement.

“We are standing behind Lynn at this time and understand that she needs time with her family – we support that,” says the spokeswoman.”

Riiight. But no title? I can think of one; “How To Raise Taboo Celebrities From Redneckville” or maybe, “Raising Two Screw-Ups Really Badly; A Comprehensive Guide For The Welfare Oriented.” Those are great, I think; probably the second one, in my opinion.
