This week’s wrap up is a little bit of everything as stars are busy hooking up, breaking up, having babies and of course, dodging rumors. Here’s what’s happening in Tinseltown this week.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have set a date for their wedding, which will now legally take place in California. It seems that they want to keep us guessing because although they’ve announced that they set a date, exactly which date that is has yet to be revealed. What they have said is that the wedding will be bigger and better than anything anyone’s ever seen and that there will be number of famous people there, some of whom will sing. Really? At a wedding for a couple of celebrities? Still so happy for these two though!

And Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are most happy to report that they are still together and they are still very happy. Jenn is currently spending time with her singer boyfriend in the United Kingdom while he’s on tour. There are also rumors floating around that Jenn “accidentally” proposed to John during one of their long walks on the beach (sigh) but these seem to be completely untrue. Jenn did however, introduce him to her dad.

Another happy duo in Hollywood these days is Bill Murray and his wife, Jennifer Murray. Or should I say ex-wife. The two surprised everyone with the announcement that they were divorcing just this past May and they are no doubt thrilled at the expediency of the courts now it is final. Despite allegations Bill Murray made about his wife this past month about her being dangerous around their children, she has been granted full custody of their four children.

Britney Spears hasn’t been granted full custody but she is making headway on the kids front. She recently requested that her visitation rights be reviewed and she asked for more. No details have been revealed just yet but it’s thought that Britney asked for overnights with her kids and she’s been given them! What may be even more impressive is that Britney appeared in court properly dressed and in a professional manner. The girl is coming back!

And one rumor that was dispelled very quickly was the story about Michelle Williams being so angry with Heath Ledger’s family that she has stopped seeing them and kept Matilda, the daughter she had with Heath, away from them. The story was so ludicrous that hardly anyone - except New York Post, who ran the story originally - even bothered to report on it. But now you know, in case you come across it!

Well it seems that Britney Spears isn’t the only one who can have substance abuse problems, and an inability to care for her children without it being splashed all over the news. Bill Murray’s wife, Jennifer Butler Murray has had the police out to her home twice for being drunk and being physically aggressive with her children. From Contact Music,

“According to police documents obtained by the New York Post, cops first visited the family home after neighbours had heard Butler Murray drunkenly shouting at her children.
The attending officer writes, “I spoke with her and advised her of the complaint. The w/f (white female) seemed to be very impaired and didn’t want me on her property any more, she slammed the door and I left the residence.”
Later the same day another neighbour called the police, after two of Butler Murray’s kids had run to her house asking for help, because their mother was drunk.
The police report continues, “I then had the complainant meet me at the police station to talk with the juveniles. They informed me that their mother had been drinking heavily and had (become) physical with them.”
Butler Murray’s lawyer has refused to comment to the Post about the reports.
Murray and Butler Murray have four sons: Caleb, Jackson, Cooper, and Lincoln, all aged between 14 and six.”

The two announced their divorce that came as a surprise to just about everyone in May after Butler Murrary claimed that the reasonings for the divorce were that Murray was abusive, a drug addict, and slept around with many different women while they were married. Harsh accusations from a woman who can’t even stay sober enough to care for her children. There is no word yet as to what will happen to Butler Murray or if she will be able to keep her children.

While many babies are being born in Hollywood this week and many couple’s are announcing pregnancies, Tinseltown still has its fair share of heartache. Here are this week’s most surprising, most predictable, and most talked about break-ups of our favorite stars this week!

The most talked-about break-up news is probably that of George Clooney and Sarah Larson. Many people have wondered about these two from the get-go and now after dating for almost a year, they have officially broken up. Nobody’s saying much on the subject so far but from the sounds of things, he’s the one that ended it with her.

Last September Dylan McDermott announced that he and his wife, Shiva Rose were separating. Now plans for his divorce have been announced and the most surprising element of this story is that McDermott is preparing to represent himself. It seems that his 7 years on The Practice has really gotten to him.

Bill Murray is also getting a divorce from his wife, Jennifer. This is serious business as apparently Murray scares his wife so badly that she needs to have a restraining order placed against him. She claims that the order is needed because of his horrible abuse and addiction to drugs and alcohol. If it’s true, it really is surprising and I would have never expected that from him. Hopefully the accusations will prove to be false on this one and I will still be able to laugh at his jokes.

In the latest Shania Twain divorce news, the rumors that Shania’s husband Robert Lange was allegedly having an affair with one of her best friends are just not true. Well, this according to the cheating dirtball and the homewrecker themselves. You can decide for yourself whether or not you believe it.

And still recovering from her recent divorce from Royston Langdon, Liv Tyler is planning on packing up their son Milo and moving him to the country. Obviously Liv is heartbroken and searching for a simpler life.
