Miley Cyrus Gets On Board with the Blaming Her Parents Bandwagon

I don’t think I’ve done a post on Miley Cyrus and her tramping, whoring ways without mentioning the fact that I think her parents are largely to blame for the way she’s turned out. They sat on the sidelines as their 16-year-old sat draped in nothing but a sheet and picture after picture was snapped of her. They also talked highly in the past of Justin Gaston, the 20-year-old who was dating Miley when she was only 16, in order to boost his own pathetic “career.” But now, Miley sort of sounds like she too, is blaming her parents for the way she’s turned out. Of course, Miley thinks that she’s turned out to be just awesome, but she does say that she’s never had a normal childhood. Well, no guff, Miley. From Digital Spy,

“Miley Cyrus has claimed that having a famous parent meant her life was never normal.

The 17-year-old insists her own success with ‘Hannah Montana’ did not change her as she had grown up with an unconventional lifestyle because of her father Billy Ray Cyrus’s career.

“I didn’t really know anything else,” she said, according to Contactmusic. “Because of my dad, I was always home schooled, I would go on tour with my dad.

“I didn’t really know what a ‘normal’ life was. So when people ask me if I miss it, you can’t really miss anything you don’t know. I never really was just a kid, I guess.”

The singer who today defended her appearance on Britain’s Got Talent also said she is pleased with how well she has coped with her own workload.

“I’m really proud of what I’ve done,” she said. “I was a little nervous at first that it was going to be too much, but I’ve had a really good time and I think it’s been easier than I thought.”

You know what I actually think is going on with this whole statement? I think Miley has finally decided to admit to herself that she’s choosing to go the way of the whorish and trampy. And, when her beloved fans who have followed her ever since she appeared on Disney disagree with those actions (because they’re 8 and their moms won’t let them watch her!), they’ll turn on her. And I think Miley is making sure that she gives herself an out for whenever she’s criticized publicly or when whatever fans she has start dropping.

Miley Cyrus is talentless and symbolizes sex way too much for any 17 year old girl. While I do partially blame her parents for it, I think Miley’s going to have to realize that she’s an adult and that the “I grew up in Hollywood” excuse didn’t work for Drew Barrymore, and it won’t work for her either.
