Miley Cyrus is so Young and Stupid

Miley Cyrus wants young girls to know that she’s going to make mistakes and that they should learn from them. But she doesn’t promise that she’s going to stop making mistakes. This is basically what she’s recently said in an interview when talking about being a role model. It’s unfortunate that Miley is the role model that she is to young girls and it’s mostly unfortunate because she just can’t seem to stop taking her clothes off or sleeping with boys that are much too old for her. It’s also unfortunate that she has such a man-ish voice but I don’t really think that will have a negative impact on today’s youth, I just like mocking Miley. But back to the issue at hand. This is the latest Miley quote from Pop Crunch,

“Miley Cyrus describes the big-screen adaptation of her hit teen sitcom Hannah Montana as a “superhero movie for girls” and says she doesn’t mind being seen as a “role model,” but she wants her legion of young fans to learn from her mistakes.

And boy has she made a few….

“I definitely want to be a role model; I hope I am. I want people to be able to look up to me because that is part of my job and that’s what I love. I want my fans to watch me and when I make good decisions, make similar decisions and when I make mistakes, learn from them because I will too,” Miley told IANS in an e-mail interview this week.”

I suppose there’s nothing actually wrong with what Miley has said. I just really wish that she wouldn’t be a role models to young girls today because I don’t think she’s a very good one. I realize that 16-year-olds are going to make mistakes but if Miley really wants to be a role model, she’s got to stop thinking like a 16-year-old girl and smarten up a little bit and realize that the entire world – including all those young girls – are watching. It might be harsh but that’s what being a role model is all about. And something that is wrong with this interview is that when I read it, I can hear that man-ish voice in my head.
