Your Daily Rihanna Update

There’s been a lot of news lately on the Rihanna/Chris Brown front and more and more rumors are being created and spread around. I guess since Chris’ pointless arraignment last week where it was determined that nothing would happen for a month, people need to talk. I have sorted through a lot of it, searching for things that I think may be true (No, I don’t think they got married) and there is still a ton of stuff.

To begin with, Rihanna seems to be not only taking her beater boyfriend back but she’s also singing a song with him. An ’emotional duet’ about facing challenges head-on together. I hate to be the one to tell her, but the only thing that’s going to be ‘head on’ is her head against a wall or worse. The thing that makes me really sick about this story is how ‘the source’ describes the recording sessions. Yuck,it makes me want to be sick. From Contact Music,

“Music producer Polow Da Don convinced Rihanna to turn the track she was working on before the incident into a duet with her boyfriend when the couple reconciled after a brief split.
She agreed and the young lovers recently recorded a series of “late night” sessions, according to
A source tells the website, “(It was) very, very emotional… The feeling in the room was pure love.”
The unnamed track the pair recorded reportedly focuses on overcoming difficult challenges as a couple. There are no immediate plans to release the record.”

I’m guessing that mixed into that ‘feeling of love,’ was also the feeling of Brown hoping that RiRi was buying what he was selling so that she won’t testify and he’ll get off easy. He’s already starting to get off easy anyways, just like I said he would if Rihanna took him back. Although you would think that his name was now a non-mentionable in the biz, it seems as though some are not only not attacking him like he deserves but actually standing by him and continue to support him. Nickelodeon has recently nominated Chris for two awards, one of them being in direct competition with Rihanna and they have decided that because he was nominated on his musical talent, that the nomination will stand. From The Evil Beet,

“Brown is nominated for favorite male singer and favorite song for “Kiss Kiss.” He’ll be competing in the latter category with Rihanna, who police say was allegedly punched, bitten and choked by Brown last month.

An online petition asking Nickelodeon to remove Brown and Rihanna as nominees had 2,166 signatures Tuesday. Nick says Brown was nominated for his work as a performer, and kids will decide who wins.”

Hey, I’m all for letting kids choose who their role model is. Until that person is a woman beater! Yes, this is only the beginning of, what is now being referred to as an ‘incident’, between Rihanna and Chris being completely swept under the rug. He and Rihanna will start to go out and be seen together, and eventually people will start to forget. Moves like this on the part of Nickelodeon aren’t helping matters much.

Lastly, it has also been revealed what the big fight was about on the night that Chris beat the crap out of Rihanna. It’s been rumored that the entire thing started because Rihanna was upset thatChris was getting text messages from another woman and while there have been many rumors as to who this mystery woman was, it has now come out that it’s actually Chris’ manager, who’s 40. Eeww!! From Daily Blabber,

“About a month ago, we learned that a 3-page text message from a woman is what started the argument between Chris Brown and Rihanna.

Well, we now know who the mystery woman is… Tina Davis, Chris’s manager.

Sources say that Tina, who will be 40 this month, had a relationship with Chris when he was 16.

They both deny it (of course). However, the detective’s affidavit says the text was “from a woman who Brown had a previous relationship with.”

Not too much more to say after all of that, I don’t think. Really, what else do you need to know except that Chris Brown deserves to rot and I have a feeling that most people know that already.
