Jennifer Aniston Gives Up on the Press

Jennifer Aniston has always seemed to be somewhat light-hearted when it comes to the press. She’s always been sort of off-the-cuff and hasn’t really ever seemed to struggle in making sure that she’s not saying the ‘wrong’ thing or offending anybody. Even during her most recent, and most awkward, interview with David Letterman, she did seem to be a bit on edge but you really can’t blame her for that, he did pull out that Vogue spread where she talked about Angelina doing ‘uncool’ things. So what’s Jen’s secret to staying so cool? She simply realizes that when it comes to the press and what she says or does, she’s damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t. From Elle UK,

“‘No matter what I say, things will always be taken out of context and misinterpreted, will always be turned around to make it seem as though I won’t let something go, or that I just keep talking about it over and over. I don’t owe anybody anything. I don’t owe anybody my side of the story. There are no sides! There is no bad guy and there is no good guy. There are no villains and there is no heroine in this story. It’s just not the case.’ Jennifer Aniston finally sets the record straight. She’s moved on, and is happier than ever.

‘ I remind myself every day that I am lucky. Look what’s out there. Look what people are really living through. There’s no comparison. I am happy’ reveals the actress who turned forty last month, but looks a decade younger with the help neutrogena soap , regular facials and an obsession with applying sunscreen.

I’m a realist,’ she says. ‘I know that if I eat nothing but burgers and chips, I’m not going to be hired for the parts I normally would. That might be fine one day, but not right now.’”

There’s no doubt that Jen looks fabulous for someone half her age. What I like most about Jen and her oh-so-envious bod is that she admits that it comes from very hard work and eating properly. She also doesn’t say that she needs to look good just because that’s how she wants to look but because it’s actually her job to look that good. It’s no secret that celebrities have much different standards when it comes to how they keep themselves in shape physically and it’s just refreshing to see that some actually own up to it and don’t just act like that’s how everyone should look. Aw yes, once again Aniston brings a smile to my face!

I find it refreshing that a blog is actually “pro-Anitson”. She gets bashed so much for doing nothing wrong! I like Jennifer, and it’s nice to see that someone is sticking up for her.
