Brad and Angie at the SAG Awards

One super nauseating thing about award season is that we are forced to repeatedly look at the same stars and while this is part of what makes the beginning of the year so great, as we look at all the stars we love, it also forces us to look at some of the more irritating stars such as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. While they didn’t do anything outrageous and I don’t want to go on a tangent about what horrible people I think they both are, I would like to say that I’m pretty sure this is the same dress that Angie-babe wore to the Critic’s Choice Awards and it has now just been dyed blue. This is what she was quoted as saying about her choice of wardrobe (or drapes.) From US,

“Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt praised each other on the red carpet at Sunday’s Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

Asked if she likes having Pitt as her date at award shows, Jolie told E!’s Giuliana Rancic, “We’ve been doing it together for four years – it’s aways nice. I don’t think I’d want to be doing it alone. It’s nice to be doing it with your best friend … and have a laugh in the middle of the show.”

She declined to answer a question about how Pitt has changed her. “It seems like a really odd moment for all of that. I’m sorry,” she said. Later, she added that Pitt “is a wonderful man … the person I admire the most in the world. I think he is extraordinary.”

Jolie wore a Max Azria dress, Tiffany earrings and ring and Christian Louboutin shoes.

“I just like to be comfortable,” she said of getting ready. “I see what comfortable options are out there.”

I have to say, I don’t hate the way she answered the question about how Brad has changed her. It is an awards ceremony and they are there in honor of celebrating their movie. Brad also wouldn’t answer the same question when asked later and I see nothing wrong with this either. But, I swear to God – that is the same dress!!!

Another “super nauseating thing” about award season is people like you saying “how horrible” certain celebs are and nailing them like the hammer head you are.

I work in this industry as a stylist and it is revolting to me when commoner’s make remarks that are completely without merit. I’m certain you don’t know them personally so why the hell are you criticizing?

Angelina Jolie is a remarkable woman. She is the paramount of talent and professionalism, and has tolerable courage that most people can’t even comprehend. A “celebrity” title is not just about the hard work, but it is also a celebration of personal growth and refinement.

You have absolutely no idea the effort it takes to build up the resilience needed to endure that lifestyle of a celeb.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are rightfully commended by those with a deeper understanding of this biz.

p.s. in reference to the on camera interview. Yes, it WAS AN ODD MOMENT. This is not a Barbara Walters intimate sit down interview. Did it ever occur to you that the interviewer herself was an idiot and not well prepared for the day’s event with asking legitimate red carpet questions?! (most of them are like mouldering cadavers anyway). She rightfully could have laughed out loud and answered, “how have we changed your life?”
