Michael and Ryan: Both so Squishable!

Who doesn’t love Michael J. Fox and Ryan Reynolds? The two share one very important thing in common: both of their lives have been seriously affected by Parkinson’s Disease. Michael J. Fox of course has been suffering from the disease for over a decade and Ryan Reynolds lives it every day watching his father suffer through it. Recently Ryan ran the New York City marathon, in honor of his dad and officially ran it for Team Fox. These two are both just so awesome and when together, as you can see on today’s taping of Rachel Ray’s show, they are both funny as hell! Here are some excerpts brought from US and it all starts with Michael’s thoughts on marriage,

“Just remember this: If a man says something in the forest and his wife isn’t there to hear him, he’s still wrong!” Fox said Tuesday.

Reynolds, 31, ran the NYC marathon Nov. 2 for Team Fox to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Disease, which his father and Fox both suffer from.

“I see this Team Fox banner up ahead, and I look to my left and there I saw Michael,” Reynolds said on the show, which airs today (check local listings).

“My dad, for I think fairly obvious reasons, couldn’t be there at the marathon. I would have loved him to be there, but Michael really was a kind of surrogate for that for me, and to just high five him and have that moment really carried me through.

“I mean I said that I gained 15 pounds in goose bumps alone…and I finished strong,” he added.”

because these two are so great, you really might want to read it all! Ryan talks about what he ate afterwards and his concern that his nipples would bleed. There’s no doubt that when you get right down to it, both of these guys have hearts of gold and it’s nice to see them teaming up for such a great cause!

Ummm…do you give a crap about every disease in the world, even though you aren’t affected by them? How can you possibly judge people for supporting a cause that affects their life just because they didn’t before. I guess if you get cancer and then your family supports cancer research we should ask them why they never gave a crap before now and then just say ‘well, life goes on. You didn’t care about cancer before so why care now?’ What a stupid thing to say. You should be ashamed of yourself for being so unsupportive of people who are trying to make a difference in the lives of people who suffer everyday. Because of these so called ‘do-gooder ailing actors’ people with all sorts of diseases have hope for the future and one day there will be a cure if people like Michael J Fox and Ryan Reynolds continue to raise money and awareness for horrible diseases.
