Jen Does Vogue and Opens Up

Even though she has alluded to it when doing shows such as Oprah, Jennifer Aniston has never really come out and publicly, directly spoken about her divorce from Brad Pitt. She sort of went into hiding for a little while afterwards and then when she did come out, she had a handful of movies and all the buzz was about her career. I guess now she wants to show people that she’s not going to roll over and die and Vogue recently had the chance to sit down with her and get to all the things that people want to know the most about. Jen touched on all the highlights including John Mayer, Brad Pitt, and even Angelina Jolie. From People,

“When they (Mayer and Aniston) met at an Oscar party last February, Aniston says she “barely knew his music.” But the two began dating – Aniston flew to England where the rocker was touring – and their relationship developed before the cameras.

Did she know it was going to work out at the time?

“You know, it isn’t designed,” Aniston says. “Love just shows up and you go, ‘Oh, wow, this is going to be a hayride and a half.’ ”

Adds Aniston: “It’s funny when you hit a place in a relationship and you both realize [that] we maybe need to do something else, but you still really, really love each other. It’s painful. There was no malicious intent. I deeply, deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another. And that’s where it is.”

Equally candid about her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, Aniston says she has spoken to him since their divorce, and calls their split “amicable.”

“The marriage didn’t work out,” she tells the magazine. “Pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we’ve been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other.”

However, what I love most about this interview was the part where she says,

“What Angelina did was very uncool.”

I was most happy that Jen said this because Angelina has seemed especially smug in the media lately when she was talking about how she and Brad fell in love on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, while Brad was still married. I am also glad that Jen has come out and said something once and for all. I think people mistook Jen keeping a low profile for being weak and saw her in a somewhat meeker light. However, I think she was doing exactly what any woman would do in the situation – taking time for herself to reevaluate her life and how she is to move forward. Jen has always shown a great amount of class and it’s nice to finally see her showing her strong and outspoken side again. And, she looks totally hot on this cover to boot!

JENNIFER IS NOT LONELY! SHE JUST DOES’NT SLEEP WITH EVERY BODY SHE SEES..SHE’S NOT A SKANK WHORE LIKE SHE DEVIL! JEN THINKS ABOUT WHAT SHE DOES BEFORE SHE DOES IT. AND SHE’S NOT IN RELATIONSHIPS JUST FOR THE MOMENT. SHE’S INTELLIGENT AND THOUGHTFULL,IF SOMEONE STANDS TO GET HURT BY HER ACTIONS,THAT’S IT SHE DOES’NT DO IT! THAT’S WHAT YOU CALL MORALS. SHE HAS RESPECT FOR HERSELF AND KNOWS SHE DESERVES BETTER THAN A CHEAP RIDE(SHE DEVIL LIVES FOR CHEAP RIDES NO MATTER WHO IT HURTS)I ADMIRE JEN. SHE KNOWS HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE AND THAT SPELLS CLASS.
