Could the Brangelina’s be more Dramatic?

I understand that when you’re as filthy rich as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt that you will get every extravagance in the world for your little ones and that everything - especially medical care - has to be the very best. And I would understand that even more should Brangelina phone in a doctor, team of medical staff, and nannies should the new twins, Knox and Vivienne or any of their other children, have a serious medical issue. It’s true that they have called in all of these people to help with the twins ’serious medical condition.’ The condition is colic. From Celebitchy,

“The National Enquirer’s inset cover story about Brad and Angelina’s twins, which reads “Something is wrong with the twins! Medical team called in,” has to do with a common but often scary medical condition in newborns - colic. Both Knox and Vivienne, who turn two months old next week, are said to suffer from colic, in which babies cry for extended periods of time and appear in distress. Colic is often assumed to be caused by digestive trouble in babies, but medically it’s unknown what causes it exactly. Of course two colic-suffering newborns along with four other children at home is said to be causing Angelina countless stress and worry. She has a doctor staying at the family’s villa in France to ensure that everything is ok, and he has his own medical team. She also has another doctor and nurse on 24 hour call. According to the Enquirer she does have nannies, but she insists on caring for the twins herself.”

Please. Colic, while very painful for the child and frustrating for the parent, is not a serious medical condition!! It certainly doesn’t require a team of doctors since there’s nothing that can be done about it except try to comfort the baby and ease their pain. I understand how difficult two colicky twin babies must be but maybe you should consider that before birthing an entire football team. They don’t always just sit there and look pretty like you would like them to. And I don’t understand why Angelina would say that she insists on taking care of them herself when her villa is full of people taking care of the babies. If you want to take care of them yourself, send everybody home! If you don’t then do exactly what you’ve done and hire people. Calling in doctors for colic! I’ll be laughing about this one all day!
